Chapter 18

Chapter 18:What in the world?!?!?

The room was filled with silence, only the ladies and Tanaka eating snacks can be heard

It wasn't awkward and tense like before and it is rather serene but no one likes silence so there's someone bound to break it

"This is boring, why is everyone so silent" Akane said as she nips on a cookie and looked at everyone with her bored eyes

Akane brightened up all of a sudden

"How about we go outside instead of staying in this room" she said, it's not really small, it's quite big actually

"Oh, but we have yet to finish the snacks, it would be a waste to just leave them be" Riku said and stared at the snacks in front of them

Akaashi stared at Riku with amusement, hasn't she realized that they can just bring the snacks if she wants to

But his interest soon dissipated, how frustrating, he always feels bored about everything, he had seen too much of the world, his eyes and mind won't regain back their naivety

He had known how the world works that it doesn't amuse him anymore but still lived, he hasn't experience that one thing called love yet

Also, he has a sister he wants to protect dearly, no matter what, even if it causes him everything

BANG!!

The door was pushed open with a loud bang and everyone can see a man

"Oh, it's you" Tanaka said with recognition, altho Tanaka didn't know the man's face he can still tell with the figure

"WHO ARE YOU?!?!" Riku asked, a lot of things has happened this week and there's another one, she feels stressed out

"I'm just looking for my wife who ran away from my (evil) clutch" the man says as he stares at Akaashi

Akaashi also stared at him wide-eyed

'DEMON KING' He thought to himself, why is he here?

While Akane beside him was mesmerized by the man but soon recovered, realizing that the man was the one who abducted her beloved brother

Akane glared at the man and pout

'Too bad that he abducted my brother, if not I might actually chase after him' Akane thought inside, isn't it suppose to be the man doing the chasing?!?!

Oota just focused his attention on Tanaka and paid no heed around his surroundings

Cough cough

Everyone's attention was taken by the fake coughing

"Hansen" Tanaka called out and started at Hansen with a smile

Oota's attention went back to Tanaka after he called out the butler's name and seeing that he is currently smiling at the butler, Oota went and glared at the butler with messed up expression

He looks like he wants to murder this man in front of him

Of course, Hansen got scared, the man he is facing is a powerful person how could he not be frightened by the murderous aura and stare

He regrets coming here, he only came here because he sensed the previous aura of the devil he met last time that abducted his young master

"Sorry to disturb you but the Masters are back" Hansen found the wrong excuse and the family's heirs are starting fiercely at Hansen

While it's true that they are here, the heirs felt that it was too quick, they just left for the empire, how come they came back?

Must have been their parental senses tingling

"What are you doing to my baby?" A woman's voice cried out

Everyone saw how the lady stared fiercely at Oota and Tanaka who is in-between his lap

Even the man behind the lady was shook

Oota took the opportunity

"Please let me take care of Tanaka" he blurted out, others interpreted it as a marriage proposal while Tanaka only thought that Oota wants to help him with everyday life and that basically means marriage

But they're both men so he didn't mind and didn't think of it as anything indecent

From Oota's confession and Tanaka's dead fan expression, the man who is the Master and the lady who is the Madame was paralyzed, they have interpreted it as Oota's marriage proposal and Tanaka's dead fan manner as his agreement

They even thought they had been planning about this for a long time and decides to ask for their blessing when they came back

The old couples were happy, they have no problem about not having an heir because both know that Tanaka is listless almost all the time

As the Madame is still paralyzed, the Master speaks up and answered Oota

". . .Of course..." The master hesitated for a bit but forced himself to say the world thinking about his son's happiness

Oota faked surprise but in fact, he had already planned this behind Tanaka's back and knew that this would transpire

Everyone in the room was tense, even the demon king who barged in the room was stoned to the ground, even Akaashi who cares about nothing was shaken to the core

And Riku, even more, was shaken, he knows Oota's intimacy toward her baby brother but she didn't know it went this far

A damn update because a reader personally messaged me and ask for an update, I can't really deny it since I feel like that would be rude

So I wrote a chapter that I definitely didn't plan and it just came to my mind, I didn't have any idea so this is what I got

Everything escalated so quickly by one chapter and I don't even understand about my story anymore

So anyway it's an update and late happy new year to y'all
