Chapter 27: Pacifying the King

The sun has already risen when Tanaka decided to wake up, next to him is the mysterious demon

"Mornin' Tanaka" The man suddenly said which startled Tanaka, he's actually awake!

"Nn, Morning Demon kun" Tanaka replied, his hands are on his eyes, wiping his tears as he yawned, seeing his cuteness first thing in the morning, the Demon is in a good mood

The demon extended his arm out and patted Tanaka who just sat there silently, after a few minutes, he stood up and reached out his hand to Tanaka which he took obediently

"Let's get you breakfast" He said, Tanaka looked at him weirdly, is he suppose to be seen around here?

Unknown to Tanaka, the demon is covered in black mist, no one can see him nor hear him other than people with a demonic blood

"Don't worry, they can't see me" He said as they passed two servants who respectfully greet Tanaka as he returned a gentle smile

(A/N: OOC!!!)

"So it's possible that they'll assume I'm hallucinating" Tanaka calmly said and the Demon felt his piercing gaze, that wasn't his intention tho!

"Haha, Don't worry, you don't have to talk"He said cheekily, Tanaka just looked at him like his crazy

"Why shouldn't I talk to you?" Tanaka asked as he imagined the demon talking to him while he doesn't respond, isn't that kind of ignoring him?

"So you won't have to be seen as a person talking to a nonexistent person?" The demon answered hesitantly

"But I don't want to be rude" Tanaka told the demon in a blunt manner

'What a cutie' the latter thought to himself and couldn't help but pat Tanaka again

Meanwhile, the Demon king finally found Akaashi

"Akaashi!" Rai whined for the nth time but Akaashi just ignored him

He's been whining and calling Akaashi for a million time but Akaashi just keeps ignoring him, Rai looked at him with teary eyes

"Akaashiiiii, I admit my fault" Rai cried out but it seems the other side is still stone cold

"Hmph" Akaashi just harrumphed and walked away, obviously escaping from Rai but there's no way that Rai's letting him go after searching for him the whole day

(A/N: TF, Everyone's going OOC!)

Akaashi just walked away with Rai on his tail, they did not talk nor looked at one another and finally after half a day

Akaashi finally stopped walking but they're in front of the Suzuki household, He walked in with Rai in tow

Servants saw the two visitors and a butler approached them

"Greetings visitors but who might you be if I may ask?" The butler asked politely and while they are talking, a person emerged in the hallway

"Oh, Welcome to my humble abode, Your Majesties" The person greeted politely

"Miss Riku" Seeing the Eldest miss of the Suzuki household, the butler respectfully bow at her and also turned to Rai and Akaashi after

"Apologies, Your Majesties, for I wasn't able to figure out your honorable identities"

"Nn, don't worry" After a moment of silenced, Akaashi told the butler not to worry

Rai secretly stole a glance at the butler with flaring eyes, the butler felt goosebumps all over his body

Akaashi also felt that so he hit Rai on the stomach

"Akaashi" Rai called out in pain

"Hmph" Akaashi ignored Rai and walked away and toward Tanaka's direction

"Akaashi-san" Tanaka said in surprise when he saw Akaashi entering the dining room with Rai

Rai also saw his brother beside Tanaka and nodded

"Tanaka, sorry for intruding but there's a fly buzzing around me the whole day, help me get rid of it" Akaashi told Tanaka in a harsh manner

Tanaka looked at Akaashi weirdly while the Demon beside him just shook his head

"Just ignore them Tanaka, they are having a lover's spat" The demon told Tanaka softly and Tanaka just agreed while Rai just glared at his brother

"Akaashi-san, I apologize but I cannot partake in your LQ" Tanaka told Rai and Akaashi in a blunt manner

"Tsk" Akaashi just tsked and left the manor

When they arrived in front of the manor, the wind was disrupted by large bird covered in fire

"Roya, what happened?" Akaashi asked

'I just noticed Master's anger so I thought something had happened' Roya, the Phoenix, told Akaashi

"Thank you for your concern, Roya, but you have to rest, your strength hasn't restored yet" Akaashi said to Roya, concerned about her situation

'Understood Master' Roya replied in understanding but before leaving, she gave Rai a glare and blew some fire in his face

'Hmph, he made Master angry, I don't like him' Roya thought to herself angry and soon flew away

"..." Rai was speechless, he almost got burned by that Phoenix and Akaashi just didn't give a shit

"Akaashi...Forgive me already" Rai begged Akaashi and hugged his legs

"Let go" Akaashi told Rai as he shakes his legs

"No, I'm not letting go" Rai complained and Akaashi just sighed

"I won't forgive you if you don't let go" Akaashi said

"That's fine! As long as I can hold you like this" Rai said as his grip on Akaashi's legs became tighter

"Let go"

"No!"

"I'm telling you to release me"

"No way!" Rai persisted and pulled himself closer to Akaashi

"Ah" Akaashi grunted in pain

"You bastard! Release me from your iron grip!" Akaashi told Rai

Rai looked up and saw that Akaashi was struggling from his grip, his gaze became possessive

'Once you're in my grip, I'll prison you in these arms of mine, forever'
Rai thought to himself possessively and unconsciously pulled Akaashi and gripped his hold tighter than the previous

"Nnn, it hurts" Akaashi said and that brought Rai back to reality

He looked up and saw that Akaashi was in pain with crocodile tears in his eyes

"Akaashi!" Rai let go and Akaashi slump down to Rai

"I'm sorry" Rai apologized to Akaashi, worried

"Your possessiveness would kill me" Akaashi told Rai a fact and Rai just looked at Akaashi

"I know" He replied in a crazed manner

"Hmph, if you anger me again, see if I won't hide longer than a day, I can even run away from you as long as I want" Akaashi told Rai

"Yes, sorry" Rai just laid his head on Akaashi's chest

Akaashi just lifted his hand and patted Rai
"Good" He said in satisfaction
