Cole and Onyx chatted all night. Only pausing when Cole serves customer. Onyx was tipsy and so was Cole.

"Long beach was nice. I just wanted and excuse to get out of the country," Cole said and Onyx smiled while nodding.

"Quite the chatter box when you're not sober," Onyx said and Cole smiled before he could reply Jasmine came up next to Onyx and put an arm around her.

"Gonna stay here flirting with the bartender all night?" Jasmine asked and Onyx rolled her eyes.

"Not flirting. Cole this is my best friend Jasmine. Jazz this is Cole." Onyx said introducing the two and they both smiled at each other. Jasmine too drunk to realise that Cole makes her coffee every morning.

"So Cole. Any good after parties?" Jasmine asked and Cole shrugged before quickly glancing at Onyx.

"Not here. I know my flatmates are probably doing something tonight though. If you're down. I finish work in a hour," Cole said and Jasmine looked at her phone to see the time. It was only midnight. Jasmine looked at her best friend and grinned.

"I'm down, If you are," Jasmine said and Onyx looked at Cole who just shrugged before she nodded. Jasmine cheered before going back to annoy the DJ and Cole and Onyx just laughed.

An hour passed and the bar was closing. Jasmine and Onyx sat on the stools at the bar waiting for Cole to finish cleaning up. Once Cole was done he said goodbye to his co-workers before climbing over the countertop and looking at the girls.

"Let's go," Cole said before they left the bar.

Cole lead the girls into his accommodation and lead them into the common room where the house party was happening.

He lead the girls to the drinks table before pouring three drinks. One for himself the others for Onyx and Jasmine. Jacob spotted him from across the room and walked over to him. Cole saw Jacob and suppressed an eye roll.

"Cole! Hey man. Didn't think you come to this!" Jacob said over the music and Cole nodded before placing a hand on the small of Onyx's back.

"Yeah, neither did I. This is Onyx and Jasmine. Girls this is Jacob," Cole said before bringing the red solo cup to his lips and taking a sip. Jacob gave the both of them a quick hug as Cole rolled his eyes.

"You're stunning. By the way," Jacob said to Jasmine and she just smiled before replying.

"Well aren't you as a cute as a button! Come, keep telling me how beautiful I am," Jasmine said as she grabbed his arm and took him to another area in the room. Onyx laughed and Cole slightly smiled before looking at Onyx.

"Come to the balcony with me," Cole said he took her hand. Cole lead her to the balcony which over looked Kings Cross. Onyx took in how bored Cole looked and took a sip of her drink.

"You don't take to your housemates?" Onyx asked as Cole looked at her before smiling.

"Is it that obvious?" Cole asked and Onyx laughed before playing with his hair. Cole enjoyed it.

"It can't be anymore obvious," Onyx said with a grin making Cole laugh. Onyx looked down at the view.

"A flat this nice in kings cross. Must cost a fortune." Onyx said and Cole nodded before pulling out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter.

"An arm and a fucking leg. Scholarship only covers my uni fees which is why I work two jobs," Cole said before bringing the cigarette to his mouth and lighting it. He took a deep inhale before removing it from his mouth and looking at Onyx.

"Do you smoke?" Cole asked and Onyx shook her said with a smile and Cole nodded.

"So why are you looking at me like you're talking yourself up to ask me for a cig?" Cole asked and Onyx laughed before shaking her head.

"I just think you're good looking. Shoot me," Onyx said before sipping from her drink and Cole smiled at her before bringing the cig to his mouth and inhaling again.

"Careful. You almost sound like you wanna hook up with me," Cole joked as he exhaled and Onyx laughed. Before she could reply Cole spoke again.

"If I hook up with you today I won't talk to you tomorrow. And you, Onyx, are someone I think I wanna keep around," Cole continued honestly and Onyx grinned before finishing off her drink and taking a step closer to him.

"Keep me around?" Onyx asked, slightly drunk, and Cole nodded. He finished off his cigarette. Stubbed it out before flicking it off the balcony and turning to look at Onyx.

"Yeah." Cole said and Onyx grinned before flicking her long thick hair off her shoulder before getting closer to him. She put her arm on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around her waist.

"Wait. Does that mean you won't even kiss me?" Onyx asked and Cole rolled his eyes before putting his lips on hers. Onyx grinned before kissing him back. Cole cupped her face as he deepened this kiss as she allowed him to do so before they pulled away.

"You taste like strawberries and watermelon." Cole stated and Onyx smiled.

"And vodka." Cole added making Onyx laugh and Cole chuckled. Onyx leaned in for a kiss again and Cole turned his head.

"We kiss again and I'm taking you to my room and I'm taking your clothes off." Cole said seriously while taking a step back and Onyx smiled.

"You wanna get to know me that bad?" Onyx asked and Cole nodded. Onyx grinned before pulling out Cole's phone from his back pocket. She was surprised to see he didn't have a passcode.

She typed her number into his phone and saved it as 'Nix'. Before handing it back to him.

"Let's see if you remember to get to know me tomorrow." Onyx said and Cole nodded before grabbing her hand leading her back into the flat.
