Cole and Onyx had been seeing each other now for about a week.

"Caramel Macchiato please," Onyx said with a grin as as approached the kiosk. She knew that Cole literally finishes his shift in two minutes and won't make her a coffee but she asked anyway. Cole rolled his eyes before hanging up his apron and grabbing his coat and bag from the back and clocking out.

"Yeah, Caramel Macchiato my ass. Let's go," Cole said as he playfully nudged Onyx and she just laughed before kissing him on the cheek.

"So it's between the Wolfe of Wall Street or Scott Pilgrim against the world," Onyx said as they walked to the station. Cole scrunched his nose up at the mention of Scott Pilgrim.

"Anything but the latter," he said as he tapped his Oyster card and Onyx smiled up at him. Cole looked down at her, she had her hair all pulled up in a high bun showing more of her face.

"You look pretty today. I like your hair like that." Cole said as they waited on the platform for the train.

"Well. I'll wear it like this more often then," Onyx whispered but Cole heard her. He smiled before pulling her into a hug and kissing her on the forehead before whispering into her ear.

"Just please for the love of God...Don't make me watch fucking Scott Pilgrim Against The Word," Cole said making Onyx smile.

Onyx put her key in the door but before she could turn it the door swinged open revealing a very cross Serenity. Serenity got out of the hospital two days ago and she was feeling good again.

Cole looked at the short 14 year old before looking back at Onyx and he could see the resemblance.

"So you didn't to pick me up from school because of a boy?" Serenity asked looking Cole up and down and Onyx eyes widened in realisation.

"Jesus. I completely forgot Sen. I'm so sorry," Onyx said to her little sister before turning to look at Cole who was watching in amusement.

"Cole this is my little sister, Serenity. Serenity this is Cole," Onyx said introducing them. Cole smiled down at her and Serenity just glared at him.

"We can leave now and still make it on time," Serenity said while grabbing her jacket. Onyx looked at her sister in confusion and Serenity groaned.

"Ughhh. For Gods sakes Nix you promised that you will take me Flip out. You always do this!! It's infuriating!" Serenity said anger dripping from her tone and Onyx sighed. Serenity still hasn't let her and Cole into the flat.

"Shit, I'm so sorry Sen-" Onyx said before she was interrupted by Cole.

"Flip out?" Cole asked the sisters and they both looked up at him before nodding.

"It's a trampoline park. Duh," Serenity said rudely. Onyx glared at her and Cole just shrugged before looking back at Onyx.

"Let's go." Cole said and Onyx looked at him in confusion and Serenity grinned.

"Really?" Onyx asked and Cole shrugged before looking at Serenity who was basically jumping up and down in excitement.

"Anything is better than Scott Pilgrim," Cole said and Onyx smiled before she could respond Serenity shut the door and lead them out the apartment building.

The three of the bounced around for a couple of hours until Serenity got tired. Even though the Blackman sisters had the same disease, Onyx was always the stronger one.

"I'm so happy I'm out of the hospital and can now eat normal food when I feel like it." Serenity said as she stuffed her mouth with a burger. Cole raised an eyebrow and Onyx prayed Serenity wouldn't elaborate.

"Hospital?" Cole asked the small pre-teen and Serenity nodded. Onyx avoided Cole eyes as she sipped from her drink.

"Yup. I was sick." Serenity said bluntly and Onyx let out a breath of relief. Happy that her little sister didn't elaborate. Cole sensed that the Blackman sisters didn't want to get into it so he ignored it.

"So Cole. Where in America are you from?" Serenity asked while sipping from her vanilla milkshake. Cole put a fry in his mouth before replying. Onyx had already heard this before so she started to tease Cole by using her foot to stroke his leg.

"Long beach." Cole said looking across the table and holding eye-contact with Onyx who just sipped from her drink innocently.

"Aren't you a little pale to be from California?" Serenity asked and Onyx paused from stroking his leg to chuckle. Cole nodded at Serenity and Onyx proceeded to stroke his leg with her foot.

Cole held eye contact with Onyx again as she put the straw in between her lips while staring at him. She knew she was acting a bit too flirty in a booth in five guys. Even more so with her little sister sitting next to her but she didn't care.

"And What are your intentions with my sister?" Serenity asked making Onyx choke on her drink and Cole's eyes snap back to Serenity.

"Uh, we are just friends," Onyx said and Serenity shot her a look.
"So why are you stroking his leg with your foot under the table?" Serenity asked and Onyx looked down in shame and Cole laughed.

"There's no bad intentions, Serenity. I promise," Cole said and Serenity nodded satisfied with his answer. Serenity looked back at her sister who was glaring at her.

"What? I was just prepping him for Genesis," Serenity said jokingly and Onyx rolled her eyes.

"Genesis?" Cole asked her and Onyx just nodded before biting into a fry.

"We will cross that bridge when we get there," Onyx said and Serenity nodded in agreement.

They got to the girls flat and Serenity went straight to her room. Genesis was working really late today so he wouldn't be back to the early morning. Onyx grabbed Cole's hand and lead her to the bed room.

Cole took off his jacket and kicked his shoes off before laying down on Onyx's bed. Onyx did the same laying down next to him. The pair turned to face each other. Cole started to use his finger to trace Onyx's face, mainly concentrating on the slope of her nose.

"Genesis isn't your boyfriend is he?" Cole asked and Onyx fake gagged and Cole felt a sense of relief wash over him.

"No. He's my older brother." Onyx said and Cole nodded before leaning closer to her with a slight smile.

"Thank God. I'm such a jealous fuck. I wouldn't have been able to handle it," Cole said and Onyx grinned at him.

"Jealous?" She asked and Cole nodded. He started leaving pepper kisses all over her face and neck and she started to laugh.

"Jealous...overprotective...and selfish," Cole said in between kisses as Onyx laughed. She sat up and straddled him and he just put his hands on her hips.

"By the way. You're such a little flirt, Onyx Blackman," Cole said and Onyx looked down at him before getting closer to his face.

"Who? Me?" Onyx asked in faux innocence before she started to leave open kisses on his neck. Cole suppressed a moan before tightening his grip around her waist.

"Let's hope no brother walks in on us and tries to beat my ass," Cole said and Onyx shook her head as she paused from kissing his neck.

"Big brother is working," Onyx said before kissing his neck. She left open mouth kisses all up his neck until she got to his lips. Cole pushed her head down gently so her lips could touch his. After a few long seconds Cole pulled away.

"And no parents?" Cole asked and he immediately regretted it as he felt Onyx tense up. She sat up before climbing off him. There was a long silence before Cole spoke again. 

"I'm sorry, Princess..." Cole said and Onyx turned look at him with a small smile.

"Don't apologise...I'll go get some snacks," Onyx said changing the subject. She placed a long kiss on Cole's lips before standing up and leaving the room. Cole cursed himself for being such an idiot. He needed a cigarette.
