Recap:
Once I got home I went straight up to my room and dived on the bed. I think I was starting to get some feelings for Tyler. I mean I had fun and he is good looking. This is good news! It would be bad to marry him and not have any feelings for him. With that happy thought I fell asleep.
I woke up just in time for dinner. I trudged downstairs just as mum was putting my plate on the table.
“How was the picnic?” Dad asked sipping his cup of blood.
“Good” I said with a yawn.
“You two get on?”
“Yeah, surprisingly” I took a bite out of my burger.
“That’s good. Do you have another one planned?”
“Nope. We don’t have to see them now until the wedding”
“Good good. Well you and your mother should start planning the wedding ASAP. The sooner we get it over and done with the better”
I nodded in agreement.
“We’ll start planning tomorrow. I have some great ideas-” Mum babbled on but I zoned out.
Ever since I was little mum had gone overboard with planning. I had the biggest birthday parties ever and all the kids used to be really jealous. I told mum millions of times that it wasn’t necessary but she just wouldn’t listen.
“Ashlyn”
“Wh-huh?” I shook my head and focused on mum again.
“I said how does that sound?”
“Uh great” I replied.
“Or we could-”
“Mum” I interrupted. I really didn’t want to hear her go on about it anymore “Maybe you should make a list and we can cross things of as we go”
“Great idea!” Mum said as she hurried out of the room in search of paper.
I finished my dinner and headed back upstairs. I pulled my phone out and searched for Mason’s number. I hadn’t talked to him since the day he kissed me.
Hey. I need to tell you something. You need to catch up! :P Can you come over? – A x
He replied almost instantly
Of course! Be there in 5 – M x
