Chapter 4

  "I swear we saw you staring at Skyler" Patricia says as herself and Emily come towards me. I'm waiting to go home with Skyler.

  I laugh nervously "Are you serious? No I wasn't"

  "You like him don't you?" Patricia asks and I still

  "No. No I don't." I laugh and a silly idea comes in my head "I was gonna prank him and tell him I like him. We've been getting really close." I say. Maybe I did really wanna tell him and I wanted an excuse and permission from my friends

  "I'd love to know what happens" Patricia exclaims and Emily gives a wicked laugh.

  "Rebecca" someone call my name and I swear I want to be angry about someone calling my name in full. I would kick them so hard in their shins but then I recognize the voice. It's Skyler. I never feel a single problem when he calls me by my full,I even feel calmness over take me.

  "He just called you by your full name" Emily whispers to me but I ignore her watching the blissful sight of Skyler come to me. Urgh,when I say "come to me" even I I know I sound like a perv.

  "Are you ready?" He asks as soon as he gets to me and I nod "Alright,bye Emily,Patricia" he grips my hand and pulls me along as I wave them good bye with a grin on my face.

By six,Danielle is already at my house and we're taking full advantage of the house as my parents and my brother thankfully isn't home. We are having all the snacks and food to ourselves and I've never been happier.
As we lay dormant on the bed listening to some slow music Danielle speaks.

"What's with you and Skyler?" Her voice rash

"Skyler and I? There's nothing. We just became close friends that's all" I avoid eye contact with her

"So you're telling me you aren't interested in him" no matter how I try to avoid eye contact with her,her eyes still meet mine. Her eyes are piercing just like her question and I stay quiet before answering her.

"No,I'm not" I say the truth or at least I try to convince myself that I did.

"Alright,lets watch a movie." She says and just then we hear some loud hard core rock music from outside. I look through the window and I see Josh and his friends in the pool.

"What the hell Josh" my voice pitch is high and unstable

"What?" He shoots back at me

"I got gibs on the house y'know"

"Yah you did but I'm outside with my friends and you're in there with yours" he turns away from me and walks away

I groan angrily and see the people his brought in. Molly my class mate is here,so are Emily and Patricia. Some other hot shirtless boys are here. At least he has made a good choice. I smile to myself and look to the pool to see a shirtless Skyler walking out. He is dripping wet and I'm pretty sure he can feel my hot stare on him cause he walks towards me.

"Hey Rebecca" he greets me drying his hair with a towel and my eyes are just on his chest watching as he breaths and they go up and down. I watch closely seeing the water roll of his chest. I'm brought back to reality by someone splashing in the pool.

"H...hey" I stutter. My cheeks are flushed. I hope he doesn't notice.

He steps closer to me "Are you okay?" He puts his hand on my cheeks and as soon as his skin brushes mine,I shiver. "Your cheeks are all red"
