chapter 11 - hope

"I'm afraid we can't do anything about that now. We have an excursion to deal with at the moment. We can call the police so they can be at the lookout for y/n." Miss Park told me.

"Thanks.. I guess." I frowned.

"Miss Park, I don't know where my cap is!" A student suddenly went up to Miss Park.

"Alright, I'll help you find it. Jungkook, get on your bus now." Miss Park demanded me to. I rolled my eyes in frustration of why the teacher won't even help us find y/n. How heartless.

"Any hope with the teacher?" Taehyung asked me as he sat next to me on the bus.

"Not at all. They don't even care if a student went missing. Luckily they'll contact the police though." I replied. "Today will be a sad day without y/n."

"You'll get through it, I know you can. Deep down, y/n believes in you."

"Exactly." Jennie peeked from behind. She was sitting behind me and Tae. 

The bus then began to drive to our first tourist attraction of the day.

y/n's POV

Arghhh! My arm hurts!

Wait, where am I? 

I couldn't recongise where I was. I was sitting down on a chair so I decided to get up. Then here it is again, my hands aching in pain. They were tied up in a rope, same as my legs. I try to free myself from the rope but unfortuately I failed to because of the tightness the person did to tie up me. 

I look around and it definitely looks like I'm not anywhere I recongise. The place looks very abandoned and dark. I do not like what is going on right now.

"H-hello?" I say, not completely audible. 

No response.

"I-is anyone here?" 

No response again. What's the point of kidnapping me if no one is here? Is the person here trying to kill me in cold blood?

I then try to think of a way to escape this torturous place with having to free myself from the rope. Sadly I didn't have any weapons with me, except for this hair clip which will have no use at all because I can't move my hands and if I use my mouth I would give up easily.

Then, as I look everywhere for some clues of where I am, a person came out of nowhere with another 2 people. But the thing is, they are in Jungkook's school uniform? (Author's note: On the first day Jungkook's school had to wear their uniform, also the same with y/n's school.) 

"Well, well, well, look who we have here." A girl said, evilly.

"W-who are you? A-aren't you supposed to be at the excursion?" I asked, confused on why this girl kidnapped me.

"Isn't it the scardy cat who is now Jungkook's beloved 'girlfriend'?" The other girl laughed while asking the other girl.

"Yeah. Sorry I didn't tell you that." The girl averted her eyes back to me. "Anyway miss y/n, I have 3 words to tell you." The girl glared into my eyes full of hatred. "Jungkook is MINE."

"Ever since Jungkook moved to our highschool we had a big crush on him and we became the best of friends until the stupid excursion came and you came along, revealing that you are Jungkook's childhood friend. How stupid it is to steal someone so valuable to me and to literally get together after 2 days of knowing each other? How pathetic."

"And we don't even believe that you two are made for each other. I don't even think you're childhood best friends." The girl rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"So we had to get the job done by letting you have a really, really slow death. You will be tied up to this chair for the rest of your life! There's no chance of even getting out. And most importantly, Jungkookie won't even be there to save you! HAHA!"

"Hey Hyolyn, how come you're not even saying a thing?" The 2nd girl nudged Hyolyn's arm.
"Sorry.. I was um, thinking about what we can do. Maybe we can lock her so she won't able to escape?" Hyolyn said shyly. 

That's weird, she doesn't look or sound as evil as the other two girls.

"Awesome idea! I knew we could trust you."

Hyolyn turned to see me. I then see her begin to tear up. Why is she tearing up when she hates my guts, just like the other girls. Hyolyn approaches me and then whispers to my ear, "Don't worry y/n. I will come save you after my so called friends give me permission for the key after I trick them into something. I feel bad, I made the wrong desision of joining the wrong friend group. I will be back in a few minutes, alright?" 

I smile at Hyolyn after what she said. I guess there will be someone saving me afterall.

"What did you say to y/n?" The first girl asked her suspiciously.

"I-I just threatened her." Hyolyn lied.

"You should really do something about your stuttering, hey? Let's go now."

"Yeah, let's just go. Oh, and make sure to lock the door so if y/n secretly has a knife or something she won't even be able to escape." The girl grabbed her friend's hand and walked out. Hyolyn gave me a warm smile before heading out.

Jungkook's POV

"Jungkook?" Miss Park snapped me out of my thoughts.

"W-what is it miss?" I replied.

"Would you like to explain to the students of how in the Korean War the survivors would to survive?

"I-I didn't listen. Sorry miss.." I had no idea of what the tour guide told us.

"Exactly. That's why you need to listen. Please pay attention or else you won't remember when to hop on the bus."

"Yes miss." I tried to listen but failed to. y/n was in my kind all this time. I kept thinking if she was safe or not. I was just dead worried about y/n. 

At the same time, I had very little hope inside of me that y/n will come back again.
