chapter 13 - reunited

"Is this where you'll be stopping?" Chaeyoung said as she parked at the War Memorial of Korea. 

"Yes. Thank you so much." Hyolyn got off the car followed by me.

"Until next time, goodbye y/n and Hyolyn!" Chaeyoung drove away leaving me and Hyolyn.

"Chaeyoung is so kind." I said while walking to the entrance of the War Memorial.

"She really is. Let's go find everyone, we don't have much time left until the excursion is over." Hyolyn and I walked to the reception to ask where a group of students last walked around.

Jungkook's POV

I was taking some pictures of the items collected from the Korean War to get the thought of y/ out of my mind and to stop worrying too much. "Jungkook." Miss Park tapped me on the shoulder.

"Yes?" I asked.
"I contacted the police. They said they are on the job of finding y/n."

"Thanks." I bowed down then I continue following behind Taehyung and Jennie.

I look into the distance when I see a familiar figure. No, this can't be it!

"Jungkook?" A sweet voice called out to me. Now we were staring right at each others eyes, clear of who we both are seeing right now.

"y/n?" I say cheerfully.

We ran up to see each other and hugged for so long. "I missed you so much.. Where were you?" I emotionally said while planting y/n kisses.

y/n kept silent and didn't answer. She buried her face into my chest. I guess she was crying too. "I was kidnapped, but I got saved by a caring person." y/n finally managed to answer after a few seconds of silence.

"Who was that person who saved you?" I wondered.

"It's me." A girl from my school said. 

"Hyolyn?" I was shocked to see how Hyolyn, the quiet girl who sits at the back of the classroom all the time would actually have the guts to save y/n! 

"Well I have to get going back to my group now. See you around lovebirds!" Hyolyn waved goodbye and walked back to her group which was somewhere else.

"Anyway, I'm glad you are safe now." I passionately kissed y/n.

"Look who's reuniting after hours.." Taehyung appeared out of nowhere and ruined our moment. "Welcome back, y/n."

"Tae..!" y/n ran to hug Taehyung. 

"y/n!! You are back!" Jennie also made an appearance and ran to hug y/n.

"Jennie!" y/n hugged back. 

"Group hug!~" y/n asked everyone to gather up and have a group hug. We all hugged each other with faith and happiness. 

I can't believe y/n came back. Our group is finally complete again.

Everything was back to normal. Even though everyone is so emotional right now, we can say that us both reunited with each other, again.

...

For the rest of the War Memorial tour, me and y/n kept to each other's side. I didn't want to let her go. I had to make the 2nd last tour together fun and memorable.

We have one last place to stop before our excursion ends. That was Namsan Botanical Garden. I want to make sure y/n will have the best time there because we only have to stay there for an hour.

...

"Please get off with caution. We will be staying here for an hour so please enjoy yourselves. We will be farewelling the y/c/n students at the airport after." Mrs Kim, another one of the teachers supervising during the excursion said.

"Let's get off." I hold y/n's hand as we begin to exit the bus.

During the stay at Namsan Botanical Garden, we strolled around having nice conversations and took a lot of pictures.
