I was staying at Lucy's tonight. Lucy was currently using the bath so I lay on her bed as I thought about something the Old man had asked me to help with. Lucy had been ind enough to buy me some nice pajama bottoms for when I stay round hers.
"I hope this request ends soon. I need to make money and take Isabella and Pika out to dinner." I sigh.
I hear Lucy squeal but she doesn't cry for help so I leave her be and soon afterwards she and...Cana? Leave the bathroom. What is Cana doing here? Before I can ask though Cana notices me and immediately collapses on the bed beside me not even bothering to put clothes on. Instead of her usual flirty behavior she just cuddles into my side. Something must be bothering Cana. I'll ask her about it later. Lucy now lays down on the other side of me and settles down. Knowing the two were not in the mood tonight I settled down for some cuddling and cuddling on Cana's behalf.
The next day I was sat at the guild bar with Lucy who had began to rant at me and Mira.
"Cana said she's going to quit the guild! She didn't even tell me why! What's up with her?" Lucy says.
News of Cana quitting the guild certainly piques my interest but Mira seems calmer than I had expected at the notion. She smiles and starts to clean one of the bar cups.
"It's fine. Cana always says that around this time." Mira says and both me and Lucy look at her.
"Eh Around this time?" Lucy questions.
Suddenly Natsu rushes past us with Happy both them shouting. "Work!"
"Hey, If you're going on a job take me with you!" Lucy cries out.
"Sorry but I'll be going alone for now." Natsu calls back.
"We'll hang out when we get back." Happy adds.
Suddenly Natsu and Gray run into each other.
"Watch where you are running, You hothead!" Gray shouts at him.
"Hey you're in my way! Ice boy!" Natsu shouts back.
"Do you two have time to be fighting?" Happy asks them.
"You've got a point!" The two say in unison.
I was quite surprised when I watched the two stop fighting. A now shirtless Gray runs up to Mira.
"I'm back!" He announces handing her a piece of paper.
"Welcome back and Gray your clothes..." Mira says.
"There's no time for that! This is my next job!" Gray says before he runs out the guild onto his job.
