I was sat with this beer sipping idiot in front of me.
"Who the hell are you and what do you want?" I ask him glaring at him.
"Hmm. Oh I'm Y/n." He says and sips his beer.
"You should leave before you get yourself hurt..." I say to him.
"Is that a threat or are you worried for me?" He says and I stare at him blankly.
"W..What..." I say.
"I heard you have a pretty strong magic. I wanted to see it in action." He scratches his chin.
'Is this man an idiot?'
"Hmm..You'll do." He grabs my arm and gets up. "Master do you have a quest for us!?" The man shouts. Is he seriously trying to go on a quest with me? The last person who went on a quest with me...Whatever happens it's on him. If it goes south I'm leaving this guild like I planned.
Y/n Pov
Master was quite surprised when he heard me ask for a job request. "Well Y/n my boy there should be some on the job wall, Remember though even though you are an S class mage your partner isn't so be careful and watch out for her magic. She still needs to learn to control it I'm afraid." Master says a little glumly.
The girl called Alisia stands waiting behind me holding her arm. "Hurry up I want to get going!" She cries out. I wave my hand.
"We have to pick a job first." I say.
"I already have a job picked out." The girl replied back.
"Oh. Well I guess we can go then." I turn around. Suddenly I hear the sound of a throat being cleared. I look to the side and see both Isabelle and Pika with their hands on their hips and a grumpy look on their faces.
"Ah."
"Y/n you promised to take us out to dinner when you got home..." Isabelle says sadly.
"I know and I will." I say leaning down to her. "I'm going out to make rent money for our home first okay." I whisper in her ear. Isabelle sighs and nods. Thank goodness kids can be Naive sometimes... Pika however gives me a look.
