Once upon a time, another year I survived, from depression, hardships and axienty. It all started when I was born..
"Uwaahhhh!~"
"It's a girl!"I was born on September 24, 2005. Unlike other babies who was born on luxury hospitals, I was only born on a simple house; made of wood, Filipinos call it "Bahay Kubo".
The woman handed the newly born baby to it's mother. Pity, joy and relief visible on her eyes as a tear rolled down on her cheek.
"I'll name her Joylyn. Just for now.."
A man from behind hugged his wife and gave his daughter a peck on the forehead. Just like his wife, same expressions was visible on his face, knowing that they won't be able to take care of the baby.
They're poor, they can't afford to buy the needs for the baby, they already had a daughter and a son and that's enough. They know it's their responsibility to take care of Joylyn but sadly they can't. They just can't.
A woman entered the room; by the look on her face they could tell she's on her 40's. She looked at the baby awedstruck.
"She's too young for me to carry her to the city." She looked at the mother. "I'll have her at the age of 7 months."
The mother had no choice but to nod, for the sake of her daughter and her family.
'Forgive me daughter..You don't deserve any of this, just hold on'
7 months passed. The woman returned with the adoptation papers, just like what she said she'll have the baby at the age of 7 months, so there it is, now on her arms.
"Please take care of her." Her mother said as tears form on her eyes.
"I will."
