Right At Home

(Y/n's POV)

Steven and I walked into his home. It was directly next to the beach and was a decent size. Steven was also right, it had now started to rain. "Sooo what do you want to do?" Steven asked. I was still looking at the inside of his house when he finally got my attention by saying "um y/n?" "O-oh sorry! I was j-just looking at your house, it looks really great!" I stuttered way to much. "Well I'm glad you like it because it looks like you'll be staying a while." Steven said and turned his phone towards me showing me that it was supposed to keep raining all night and all of the next day. I was a little upset, not because I didn't want to be with Steven, but because I wanted to see what had changed in Beach City. "Well," Steven started with a yawn "it's getting pretty late, I think we should go to bed" "Umm where exactly am I going to sleep" I said laughing a bit "hmm, well you could sleep in my bed, with me, i-if that's not a problem of course haha I don't really want anything to be too awkward.." Steven obviously thought this was a very awkward situation to be in, but I didn't really mind "sure, as long as you're really ok with it" I said "I don't mind" was his response.

Steven told me to pick which side of the bed I wanted, so I did, the side closest to the wall. He laid in the bed next to me. I knew I was blushing so I buried my face into the blankets. "Hey, y/n ya know if this is uncomfortable for you, you don't have to sleep here.." Steven said noticing how I had hidden my face. "N-no it's fine r-really!" Yet again I stuttered way too much. "Alright.." Steven started "I'm gonna go to sleep now, goodnight y/n." "Goodnight Steven"

In the middle of the night I got waken up by feeling something over my body, when I looked to see what is was it was Stevens arm, I guess he cuddled up next to me in his sleep. I moved a bit but I didn't want to wake him up. He looked so comfortable, just laying there. So I just went with it and laid my head down on his chest.
