Taylor

So as soon as we got home Dejanee went straight upstairs and closed the door that's when I get everything ready and Marie just walked in the door.

Marie:" Ard lets get this party started "

Not really but I knew what she meant. She went to her car and came back with a banner that she did with a cake that say Prom ?

Me:" Do you think this going to cheer her up"

Marie:" I hope so like this is messed up but no one should care right no one should treat her different because of her dad well I got to go I have a hair appointment in a few."

With that Marie left and I went up stairs and Dejanee was laying down looking at her phone.

Me:" Hey baby can you come down stairs real quit. "

She shook her head yeah and went with me. When we go down there she stood in place.

Dejanee:" Babe are you for real "

Me:" Yeah I want to go to prom with you "

I pulled her close and kissed her. She smiled and stared to eat the cake of course she did always go to the food.

Me:" So is that a yes "

Dejanee:" Yes baby"

She smiled and went back to eat cake.

I can't believe that she found out like how could this be. Now people going to see me differently because my dad is a killer a drug dealer as you will. Then Taylor works for him so I'm dating one of my dads workers. They are kinda a like but not really like my dad is reckless and Taylor have a warm heart even though he don't show it much just that he been hurt a lot then he is living here along with jumping from home to home.

I was really in my room thinking about how everything is going to change after today like prom is tomorrow and then graduation and everyone know who my dad is so are they going to be scared of me or what. Try to be my friend like nah keep that same energy four years ago when you didn't know who my dad was.

I just sat there thinking then got a DM on ig that's when Taylor came in before I got to read it.

Taylor:" Hey baby can you come down stairs real quit. "

I shook my head yeah and went with with him. When we go down there I stood in place. When I got there I saw cake so I wanted to eat it and as I got closer it said prom. Prom for real and all I was thinking was stuffing my face in cake all well he knows I love food.

Me:" Babe are you for real "

Taylor:" Yeah I want to go to prom with you "

He pulled me close and kissed me. I smiled and started to eat the cake like duh it's cake and I was having a bad day meaning I need food.
