It have been a week since Max funeral and things just started to get back to normal. Marie is not blaming her self as much but her mom made her stay home all week and today is the last day off school so I started getting ready. I got in the shower just thinking. Then I got out and started getting ready for school that's when Marie came into my room.

Marie:" I see you not ready "

Me:" Girl hold your horses, I'm almost done"

I put my hair in a bun and then put my clothes on which was a black crop top and high waist jeans .

Marie:" Prom is Friday you ready"

Me:" Kinda I just need to get last minute things and see what I am going to do with my hair"

Marie:" Yeah same well you ready we don't want to be late for school"

Me:" Yeah let's go"

With that we went out the door to drive to school.

Boss gave us the week off because of that happened and it's the last day of school so I am going.I just got out the shower and was about to put my clothes on when one of the workers came in here.

Maid:" Sir your sister is here "

Me:" Thank you I will be down in a minute "

She bowed and went out. I put on my jeans and a plain while shirt. I went downstairs and there she was standing there and when she saw me she gave me a hug.

Landry:" Hey baby brother I'm glad you are ok. "

Me:" Yeah now what do you want in going to be late for school "

Landry:" Well I heard what happened I and wanted to make sure that you was okay"

Me:" I am now I got to go talk to you later"

With that I went out the door and ready to get this day over with. Though out school everyone one was saying sorry for your lost. He was a good guy, it shouldn't have been his time and blah, blah, blah. The teachers was even talking about him talking about they lost a good student. If only they knew what kind of person he was.

I was walking around the school when Amber came out of nowhere.

Me:" What "

Amber:" I'm just making sure you was ok"

She started rubbing my arm.

Me:" Yea I'm fine"

I moved her hand away and stared going to the lunch room. When I got in there I saw Dejanee  and went to her.

Me:" Hey baby "

Dejanee:" Heyy "

Then she kissed me.
