Chapter 6The Basics of Magic

Leaving the town of Lust Buckers Miho and I set our distention towards the revolutionary army base.

Sora: "How long will it take to reach the base?"

Miho: "At the speed that I have in my mind maybe 3 days."

Sora: "3 days. Is it that far?"

Miho: "It is not that far, but you see I just can't let you meet our leader in the state that you are in. So while journeying I will train you. Anyway the sun will come down after a couple of hours so we will take refuge by that mountain. Also while we are there I will teach you how to fully control your energy output."

Sora: "I see then, thank you in advance."

When we reached our distention we set camp. After that she started teaching me the basics of using magic.

Miho: "To start things with, how is the voice in your head?"

Sora: "It stopped talking!!" (2 seconds later) "Hey how do you know about the voice in my head!!?"

Miho: "Cause I also have one. Not only that but every magician has one."

Sora: "So what exactly are these voices?"

Miho: "They are spirits that live inside our body. Every magic user has a different kind of spirit. For example mine is called Amaya."

Sora: "What about mine?"

Miho: "You will have to ask it your self."

Sora: "How?"

Miho: "You really ask a lot you know. For now just close your eyes and talk to your spirit. As if you are talking to your self."

Sora (talking to himself): Hey spirit where are you.

Suddenly the voice in his head said: "I am right here. What do you want Sora?"

Sora: "I have been told that you have a name. So what's yours?"

The voice in my head: "My name is Mitsuki."

Sora (Talking to Miho): "She says her name is Mitsuki."

Miho: "Wow a girl spirit."

Sora: "What's wrong with a girl spirit?"

Miho(While laughing): "Nothing. Just that most the time the spirits gender is the same as the magician."

When I heard that my face got all red from embarrassment and Miho kept laughing. It took sometime for Miho to stop laughing. After that she started to talk seriously again.

Miho: "You really made me laugh there."

Sora: "It is not like I asked for it."

Miho: "Anyway, spirits are the main source for our powers. They also symbolizes the type of magic we use. They can teach you how to use new moves, but you can't depend on them to teach you the basics of energy."

Sora: "Ok, So what will you teach me?"

Miho: "Do you remember what the spirit told you about how to unleash your energy."

Sora: "I do, She told me to imagine that the energy in my body is water and I am in a bubble that is surrounded by that water. While in the bubble I can't use energy to use magic. But if I do want to use magic I make some of the bubble disappear from those places. Like how I struck Zaramba in his chin while surrounding my fist with energy."
