Chapter 9A new beginning

Tokyo Year 3557 January 9th:

As the moon fell on the ground; and the fog ash-ed through the air. The glittering sunlight of a new day filtered through the atmosphere. I woke up through the chirping sound of the birds. As I woke up I remembered all the action that I had yesterday. More specifically I remembered the 7 days experience through the flash of a second in this universal time line. I took a deep breath and slapped my face as hard as I could, and told myself that everything would be okay. I then stepped down to the floor. Headed towards the bathroom. Where I took a hot shower and cleaned up. Back in the room I neatly made the bed and dressed the school's uniform. Grabbed my backpack and went downstairs heading towards the kitchen. In the kitchen I saw my mother in her blue silky apron that my father bought for her 7 years ago in christmas after her old one the one she got from her late grandma wore off. I silently stepped in without saying a word and sat down on the dining table that had 4 chairs. The reason why I didn't even bother to say hi was because my mother was humming. My mother liked to hum a lot especially when she was in a good mood. My brother Shinji came downstairs a few minutes later. He too sat down without saying a word and listened to our mother beautiful hum. No one interrupted her until my father came down. He didn't need to say a word for her to stop. It was his stern face that made my mother stop. Why shouldn't he? After the fairy tale of a story that I told him yesterday. Which wasn't he case for me.

Shinji then broke the silence and told my father: "Father don't look at brother like that. You know he wouldn't lie."

Daisuke: "This is not of your concern Shinji."

Shinji looking upset: " Not of my concern A family is built to trust one another. Yet it looks to me that you don't trust brother Sora."

Daisuke getting angry: "SHINJI ...!!"

Before my father could say another word my mother slapped the dining table with the breakfast and said with a big smile in her face: " Breakfast is ready." Shutting off my father and Shinji's mouth battle. I stood up and helped my mother to set the food on the table. I then said: "Itadakimasu." Everyone followed me and we ate in silence. After a short while we heard the front door bell rings.

The 4 of us shouted together in unison: "It must be Minami!!!"

I don't know what happened but such words echoed in our ears and made us laugh as it did. My mother then headed towards the door while chuckling and opened it.

Sachi while fisting her hands and position it at her mouth in order to hid her chuckle: "Hello Minami-chan please come inside."

Minami: "Good morning oba-san. If you don't."

As Minami entered the house in her cheerful way. She saw us laugh.

Minami: "What are you laughing about?"

Sora: "You."

I could already see that she was puzzled from my answer. So Minami asked again more vigorously: "What did I do to make you laugh?"

I stood up and told her: "I will tell you in the way to school."

I then bit a piece of bread that I grabbed from my plate and headed towards the door. While I was at the door entrance wearing my school shoes. I told my parents: "Bye Mom. Dad. Love you."

When my father and mother heard those words from me their expression changed. My father's face showed that he had already forgiven me. While my mother's face showed that she did to love me with all her heart.
