Growing Closer

*y/n's POV*
y/n: Don't try anything stupid
Bucky: No promises
I roll my eyes and walk away, I won't. have to deal with him for a bit right, so I decide to take a bath. As I'm walking out of my room with my towel, I hear laughs.
*Bucky's POV*
I saw her walk away, and was about to follow her until I saw Steve.
Steve: Miss me?
Bucky: Not really, didn't have to worry about having to follow around idiot trying to prevent them from doing something stupid
Steve: Jerk
Bucky: Punk
We had caught up on almost everything, I left out how I met y/n. It was starting to get dark, I thought y/n had gone to sleep since she hadn't come out of her room for so long; and then the front door opened.
y/n: Sup idiots!
I swear I had the most amazed face because she just laughed at me.
Steve: Oh right! I forgot to mention y/n can turn invisible, which is why we didn't see her leave her room
Bucky: That doesn't explain why I didn't hear the front door open when she left
y/n: And that will remain a mystery to you, so shut up Stevie!
I watched her as she disappeared into the dark hallway.
*y/n's POV*
I wasn't planning on going out tonight, I was just going to stay in, but you know Bucky showed up, and I wanted to give him and Steve some quality "bro" time. But, I thought it'd be amusing to have a little fun and confuse Bucky. I had gone out to work out, even if there's a gym, I didn't wanna invade their privacy. I was trying to go to bed, but I couldn't fall asleep, I was feeling nauseous.
*Bucky's POV*
I saw y/n walking towards Steve and I, she looked as if she was drunk, couldn't walk straight. I could finally see her face in the light.
y/n: Ste-
Next thing I know y/n collapses and is on the floor. Steve and I both run towards her to help her.
Steve: y/n, Y/N! Stop joking around this isn't funny!
Steve was trying desperately to make her stop pranking us, but it didn't look like a prank after a few minutes.
Bucky: Steve, we have to take her to a hospital.
Steve: NO! We can't, we're taking her to Stark, maybe he knows what happened.
*Steve's POV*
I knew y/n hated going to Stark for help, and she would be so mad at me when she woke up, but I didn't care, I wasn't going to lose her.
Steve: Come on, take y/n, and get in the car! Hurry!
I saw as Bucky picked her up, her body looked lifeless, limp. I can't lose her.
I drove as fast as the car could go, which was incredibly fast, but not fast enough, we were losing her. We had finally arrived, and we brought her to lab.
Tony: What happened?
He still hadn't noticed y/n was on the bed, but then saw her.
Tony: What happened to y/n? I swear if it was you Barnes you're gonna pay for it with your life!
Steve: Tony, back off Bucky had nothing to do with what happened to y/n. We don't even know what happened she was walking towards us and collapsed.
Bucky: She seemed drunk
Tony: I'm sorry, who told you you could speak?
Steve: Tony hear him out, you know that if it were up to y/n she'd never come back here
Tony: Ugh fine, speak
Bucky: As I was saying before I got rudely interrupted
Tony: Ok yeah nope, Barnes get out of here or I swear I was blast your head off
*Tony's POV*
Who the fuck did this idiot think he was that he could speak to me that way? I swear if it weren't for Steve he'd be dead by now, we'll that and y/n was here. I hadn't seen her in a while not after what had happened with her ex.
Tony: You know what, I'm sorry, I'm just nervous. Friday, complete a body scan on y/n.
Friday: It appears Ms. y/n had a severe asthma attack, and has a low amount of iron in her.
Tony: Asthma? Are you sure, she never was diagnosed with asthma, I think I would've found out if she had asthma.
Friday: It appears her asthma was strongest her first years after it began to stop, but it seems it's resurfaced.
Tony: Alright, whats this about low iron?
Friday: It seems she hasn't been eating much.
Steve: What? Yes she has, we ate dinner together yesterday, and looked fine.
Tony: Ok I'll see what I can do, someone call Banner!
*y/n's thoughts*
I didn't know what was going on around me, I remembered trying to walk toward Steve and Bucky but everything went black after that. I could hear my Dad screaming at Bucky. I couldn't move, I just laid there, stuck in my thoughts. I wanted to get up, but it was as if something was stopping me. I could hear my dad, mumbling to himself that I was gonna be okay, that there was nothing to worry about, but I could hear him get more and more anxious. Ugh I just want to get out if he-
*2 weeks later*
*Bucky's POV*
y/n hasn't woken up, I haven't seen her smile in 2 weeks, and yes I had just met her, but I liked her immediately. I was sitting next to y/n.
Bucky: You probably can't hear me, Steve is on a mission with Sam. Your dad's working on a way to get you to wake up with Banner. We've been at it for two weeks. Please wake up. We miss you.
I don't know when I had fallen asleep, but it was the next day when I woke up. y/n's hand was on top of mine. I looked at her hoping to see her awake, but she just laid there. Just as I was about to walk away, I felt her hand tighten around mine.
y/n: Miss me?
She gave me a smirk, lord she knew how to annoy me but amuse me at the same time.
Bucky: I wouldn't call it miss you exactly doll, but i'd get it if you wanted me to miss you?
y/n: Dickhead! Where are we?
Bucky: About that... I'm gonna go get Steve...don't mind me
I was starting to walk away, and then next thing I knew I was on the ground with y/n on top of me.
*y/n's POV*
y/n: Yeah no you're telling me right now
Bucky: How are you this strong just a few minutes ago you were laying on that bed in a coma?
y/n: Stop changing the subject!
I don't  know what came over me. I felt that I was getting aggressive, my old self was resurfacing, my whole mind was foggy.
Bucky: y/n? y/n? are you okay?
I heard his voice and snapped out of whatever it was that was going on. I just looked into Bucky's eyes, his icy blue eyes. I felt vulnerable for the first time in a long time. I broke down, I was crying, didn't know what was going on, I had gotten up and sat on the bed. Bucky followed, he sat next to me for what felt like the longest time.
*Bucky's POV*
I saw her start to cry, I didn't know what to do, I had always seen her so strong, and now seeing her like this, weak, vulnerable. It left me heartbroken, I was never good with emotions or feeling in general, but I wasn't going to let her be by herself right now. I sat next to her on the bed, contemplating what I should do, I hugged her, just went for it, and she didn't pull back, just hugged me tighter.
*time skip*
Steve: Buck- oh um, y/n good to see you're awake.
We were laying in the bed, cuddling, y/n was asleep.
Bucky: shhh! She's asleep.
Steve: I think two weeks are enough sleep, wake her up.
Bucky: y/n? Doll? Wake up.
She moved around in my arms, turning to face me.
y/n: Good morning!
Her hair was a mess, yet she still managed to look beautiful.
*y/n's POV*
I woke up in Bucky's arms, surprised, but relieved. He was really cute, it was until then I realized Steve was in the room too.
y/n: Oh hi Steve! How's your day been?
I tried to act as nonchalant as possible, but I could feel myself blushing like crazy.
Steve: It's been good y/n, how long have you been up?
He sounded annoyed, but I tried not think much of it, he was probably just annoyed that we didn't let him know I had woken up sooner.
