You were all too familiar with the feeling of boredom. When you spend your days hunting monsters and saving people, nights spent by yourself weren't all that exciting.
You were relaxing in your room at the bunker, hair still wet from the shower thrown carelessly into a bun on top of you're head, PJ bottoms donned, favourite show playing quietly from your basic sized television, the last thing you expected was a flustered angel to appear suddenly in the corner of your bedroom.
The familiar sound of flapping wings gave him away. "Gheeze, Cas warn a girl before you appear in her bedroom late at night. Why do you look so disheveled?"
"(Y/N), please. I am in serious need of your help."
Startled by Castiel's boldness you stood up quickly, and made your way over to the troubled angel.
"What's the matter Cas? Are you in trouble?"
Worry flared in your stomach at the thought of Castiel being threatened or in danger, you wouldn't dare tell anybody but you had a huge soft spot for the fallen angel, all you knew was that whenever he was around, you had to concentrate just to form a coherent sentence. "I was somewhere in New Mexico and the temperature was becoming increasingly hot, I removed my tie but now I cannot seem to return it to its original form. You are my last resort."
Cas said, voice thick with frustration and maybe a little bit of embarrassment. You could barely stifle your laughter. It's just the thought of an extremely powerful celestial being capable of levelling towns, can't tie a tie. "Cas you are such a drama queen, do you know that?"
You managed to say between giggles.
"I don't understand (Y/N) I am no queen of drama." The puzzled look on Castiel's face was enough to set you off laughing again, you probably looked like a fool, but this was gold.Sobering up, you moved your hands around the back of Castiel's neck, lifting up the collar of his shirt, fingers slightly shaking at the close proximity. You slid the tie around Castiel's neck, running you're fingers over the smooth material. "It's really not difficult Cas, you just uh, you just watch what I do."
Slowly, so Cas could see what you were doing, you routinely moved the tie around itself twice, before tucking it into the small loop you had made. Tie complete, you pushed it up so that the top touched his very first button, satisfied with the results you subconsciously smoothed your hands over Castiel's warm chest. "Thankyou (Y/N)."
Cas said softly, breath fanning over your ear. Realising just how close you were to each other you looked up, faces merely two inches apart, right into those bright blue eyes. You could barely breathe. "Anytime Cas."
Your voice barely audible, you let your eyes drift down to his light pink lips, and back to his eyes again. Before you could stop yourself you were leaning in, your lips were brushing Castiel's now, you felt Cas' hand press against the back of your head, ever so softly, pressing your lips to his in a brief but dizzying kiss.Pulling apart you let a quick breath escape your lips before drinking in the appearance of the angel you'd admired for so long. Seeing the dazed smile on Castiel's face, you leaned in for another, and one of many, tender kisses.
