hELp. Sorta normal au, but sorta not :)

Stood before the King of Asgard was a Fortune teller. She explained to him how his only heir was to fall in love with the son of the Jotnar King, Loki Laufeyson, and marry him.

Many years pass and Odin comes across the perfect opportunity to stop fate. The Jotnar had invaded Midgard, and in the middle of the war he found the Baby Prince that was destined to marry his son.

A glamour is put on Baby Loki, and he was taken away as soon as the war ended. The Prince was locked in a tower that entry was forbidden to anyone inside of the Palace, and the door couldn't be opened by anyone who wasn't Odin himself.

Throughout the years, Loki grew up in that tower. Secluded and alone, Gazing out of the window through the gaps of the big iron bars.

Odin thought that there was no worry about Loki anymore, he actually forgot about his existence.

Thor one day found the door to the one place that was forbidden to all, He can't open it, but he was so curious about what was inside, so he knocked and waited for a reply. He swiftly got a response from inside, it was a shy, gentle voice asking who it was. Thor was overjoyed by this, and started talking to the person inside.

It soon became a habit of Thor's to go to the tower in the evenings to talk to the person inside. He asked for a name once, but the person inside said he didn't have one. So Thor being Thor, he took the word 'Lock' and called him 'Loki', and Loki was really happy to have something that belonged to him.

Thor then tried to open the door, but he failed, He tried everyday but nothing could make the door open.

The day he finally became worthy of Mjölnir, the first thing he did was to fly all the way to the Tower's lonely window and tried to break it's bars.

He succeeded so he could finally see the person he spoke to for all those years, he entered the window with his heart beating loudly.

Thor glanced around the room then spotted Loki in the shadows. He was just like the Asgardian Prince had imagined him. Slender and graceful.

Loki stared at the intruder, Thor then spoke and he instantly recognised his voice.

He was so happy that he was in tears, he was so lonely in that tower, no one to talk to, no one to see, and he was so touch-starved that he couldn't help but cling to Thor.

Loki begged Thor to take him out of that tower because he wanted to feel the grass. Thor of course took him out, and he went to Frigga's garden.

When Odin had first told her about the child that he has kept in the tower, she was beyond pissed. Because Loki didn't do anything to deserve the punishment that he got.

He was just so happy to touch everything, the flowers, the trees, even the tree bark, which scratched his finger and caused him to bleed. But even then he was happy because the tower was enchanted to never let him get hurt.

Loki was happy because everything that he had read about in his books, was happening right in front of him.

Thor then called a storm so Loki could feel the rain on his skin. He was so happy.

~The angst queen (Danno) is about to pay a visit :)~

Thor invited Loki to the feasting hall and Odin didn't recognise him, after all the last time he had saw him, Loki was a baby.

Loki was so overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people in the room.

~~~
Weeks went by and Loki was still accompanying Thor wherever he went, rumours started to rise. Who was this man? Where did he come from? Where is his family?
And then it all gets twisted. They started to say that he was just whoring himself to the crowned prince, why else would a beauty with no past or family be in court?
Soon Loki comes to learn all the negative emotions, pain, hatred, sadness. He couldn't understand why anyone would want to hurt him like this, why everyone was hurling insults at him. He had done no wrong.
He went to Thor crying on his shoulder, begged him to stop the pain.
Thor didn't understand though, he saw no wound on Loki, but Loki was clutching at his chest, his heart aching.
Thor was seething with rage, but still held Loki to him, to will the pain away.
