"Violenta"

A mountain of papers came tumbling down the stairs like a hurricane, their words taunting her as she kept throwing the shocking documents down the stairs with rage. At the bottom of the stairs, her other half watched in a mixture of shock and confusion knowing he couldn't stop her anger.

"Agresiva"

As the frustration in her eyes and anger in her heart manifested, hot, wet tears streamed down her face, looking up at him feeling nothing short of betrayal and heartbreak. She shoved his chest over and over, drumming on his chest, screaming as her classmate grabbed her by her waist in an attempt to hold her back.

"Impulsiva"

She laughed looking around from her brother to her best friend. A big, real, toothy laugh, almost clutching her stomach, her abs clenching and unclenching. All it took was for her to catch a glimpse as she passed by the classroom before in seconds, flashing red was all she could see. Everything went silent around her, and her company could see that if they didn't act fast, it was going to be a blood bath. She slammed her fists on the table.

"How fucking dare you!" she belted, leaping from her seat, ready to pounce. And she would have too, if it wasn't for the massive clasp of her brother's palm on her right wrist and the pull of her best friend by her waist.

"Y sobre todo, muy, muy triste."

Alaska Valeria-Mariana Velazquez had felt a range of emotions in her sixteen years of life: anger, frustration, betrayal, regret, jealousy, and more. When she turned thirteen, the primary emotion she felt more than anything was anger. But something different clicked as she laid her eyes upon him and her childhood friend as he unapologetically thrust into her against the cold wall, not a pinch of anger, frustration, betrayal, regret, jealousy or more, sped through her heart. She didn't even feel nothing. All she felt was . . . sadness.

And in that moment she realised, she had been sad for a very long time.

"¿Estás diciendo que Alaska Velázquez podría haber sido responsable de la muerte de Marina Nunier?"

"Inspectora . . . all I am saying is that don't rule her out."
