A💙:

'I don't know, I just feel so sick. Ale was fine but I couldn't even get out of bed, I'm too tired.'

As Guzman read the reply, he thought his day couldn't get any worse. With the bad mood he was already in, on top of that, he couldn't see the one person he actually wanted to see. Walking from the swimming pool towards the changing room, he replied with telling her to feel better soon and that he'd pass by with some cookies.

He was even lucky that she was texting him, especially when he was so sure that at the charity event yesterday, he would still be grovelling for her forgiveness. But that was one of the many things he loved about her, she'd always hear a person out and judge whether or not they were deserving of her time or not. Guzman appreciated that.

"Are you okay?" A voice asked, entering the changing room. When Guzman turned around, he saw that it was only Alejandro.

"Something like that." Guzman chuckled slightly, about to turn back to his phone, but stopped when he noticed the way he was smiling at his own. He might as well have a distraction for a little.

"What's got you so happy?"

"Hm?" Ale replied immediately, snapping his head up.

"Your smile's bigger than the country."

Alejandro laughed, turning off the phone, smiling to himself as he sat on the bench.

"Girl problems; you know how it goes."

Guzman smiled to himself too, knowing that 'girl problems' meant either a girl was stressing him out or making him just too excited that it was messing with his head. But seeing the smile on his face, it was definitely the latter.

"I definitely know how it goes believe me, your sister doesn't make it easy for me either."

At his statement, both boys shared a laugh, Ale agreeing with Guzman that his sister infant didn't make it easy for Guzman, but then again, she never makes it easy for anybody.

"So who's the girl? Maybe I can help."

"I would tell you but I know how you feel about her already."

"Are you sure? - Okay never mind, I believe you. Well what seems to be the problem then?" Guzman asked, going over to sit opposite the blonde.

"I think I officially like her."

Alejandro had always been in tune with his feelings. Often, he knew how he felt about situations, acknowledged them, and decided how he would proceed based on his head and his heart. It was a trait his father had taught him from a very young age. The older man always believed that to make a strong man always consisted of listening to one's head and heart, being reasonable, and then making decisions based on both. It was a lesson Alejandro always kept close to his chest and utilised as and when need be.

He knew that whenever he'd be excited to go into class, nervous whenever he'd receive funny texts on his phone, or even little things like receiving a smile from Nadia that he recognised as more than just friendship emotions that Alejandro knew all too well. He wouldn't say they were new to him because that would be a lie; he'd dated his fair share of girls so far and had experienced those same emotions with his ex-girlfriend, so it was a definite that where he was at not, his feelings for Nadia were familiar.

"You think you like her or you like her? Cause those are different things and you know that." Guzman asked.
