PROLOGUE - A New Beginning (RE-WRITE)

As the snowflakes fall on the vast snow-covered lands, a multitude of gold and orange are floating in mid-air with the real one having black spheres behind him, and one by one they are reduced to puffs of smoke by a pale-skinned woman with delicate facial features. She had extremely long, sweeping white hair, white clear eyes, and her eyebrows were cut very short and round— a symbol of nobility, and she wore a red shade of lipstick on her lips. Two brown horns protrude from her head and a third eye formed in the centre of her forehead. She wore a high-collared hime-kimono which has tomoe running down the centre and edges of the gown adorned with intricate gold and purple lines.

She was the Rabbit Goddess, the Progenitor of Chakra, Otsutsuki Kaguya.

Bones started to protrude from her back which alarmed the real Naruto.

'Those things... They cut down the shadow clones earlier.' Naruto recalled cautiously in his thoughts as bones came out from Kaguya's hands and dashed forward, firing the bones from her palms as two of his clones protected him.

The bones stabbed the clones as they started to disintegrate into a pile of ash.

"The Clones are desperately protecting that one." A black mass spoke, hidden inside in one of Kaguya's bellowing sleeves. "There's no mistake, Mother. The one with the Truthseeker Orbs behind him is the real one!"

Multiple clones came in front of Naruto as Kaguya generated more bones from her hands before attacking them, stabbing them into ashes to get to the real one.

Both Nanami and Kakashi watch from below, unable to do anything as the redhead gazes at her brother in worry. Nanami wanted to fight alongside her brother but Naruto forbade her from joining. She's not too keen on standing on the sidelines while her twin is risking his life, but what can she possibly do?

Just being in this situation made her feel powerless to do anything.

"It's not over yet!"

Naruto's voice snapped her out of her self-loathing, snapping her attention to her brother as he yelled, "There's no way I'm gonna lose!"

Many of his clones charged in at once as Kaguya stabbed them all with her technique. Just seeing him fight counteract all of her thoughts as determination showed through her blue eyes. 'Nii-chan is fighting hard to protect us. If I have time wallowing in self-pity, then there should be something I can still do!'

Space started to warp itself before her and Kakashi as Sakura, Sasuke, and Obito appeared, the snow crunched beneath their feet.

"Obito!"

"Sasuke! Sakura!"

The fight between Naruto and Kaguya paused as soon as the newcomers came in, much to the black zetsu's dismay. "Impossible! It's Sasuke!"

"He's here!" Sasuke then dashed towards the battle to aid Naruto but Naruto was caught by Kaguya as her hair wrapped around the blonde shinobi, a bone protruding from her hands.

Nanami's eyes widened when she saw this and tried to warn him. "Nii-Chan! Watch out!"

Kaguya thrust the bone into him. "Now, there's nothing to worry about." She said coldly as Naruto started to disintegrate.

"No way!"

"Naruto!"

"Nii-Chan!" Nanami yelled in shock but that soon came short when 'Naruto' poofed into smoke. Both Kaguya and Black Zetsu were taken aback by the stunt.
