Strawberry Shortcake

Hoseok turned toward the two as they entered the kitchen. "Let's get to the point. What exactly are you doing here?" He asked the fox hybrid. Taehyung immediately stopped walking and sighed. "If you are thinking that I'm only here to steal, you're wrong. I'm searching for a lost hybrid." Hoseok nods and then tilts his head toward Jimin. "Is it true?" He questions. "Yeah, it's true. He's going to stay with me for the rest of the day." He explains. "I'm helping him out with something."

Hoseok nods. "You still need to work on the list that father gave you." He reminds. Jimin rolls his eyes but Hoseok was right. "What did you even get?" His brother asked, raising a brow.

Jimin sighs and scratches the back of this neck. "It's not much but I need to start planning for my big birthday party, which is in a month. There's so much to do, yah!" Jimin sighs and looks at his brother and at the fox. "I'll get to it, later..." Hoseok rolled his eyes at Jimin's reply and crossed his arms. "No, Jimin-ah, you're going to get to it now. Your birthday is coming up and you're going to it." Jimin only nods.

Hoseok leaves the fox and dog hybrid to themselves as he heads to continue his 'chores' around the castle. Taehyung glances nervously at Jimin and bites his lip. "Um, is it... Is it okay if I have some food?" He asks anxiously as he stares at Jimin waiting for an answer.

Jimin only nods. "Let me you show you the way to the kitchen." Jimin starts walking with Taehyung following close behind him, glancing at every single thing in the castle's hallway. He was amazed at the chandeliers lovely aesthetic look and to the decorations in the hallway. He loved the look and smiled a little.

Jimin raises an eyebrow and slows down to walk in pace with the flow hybrid. "What has you smiling?" He asks turning towards him. Taehyung licks one of canines. "I-I just like the look of this place, it's so much nicer than where I come from.." He mumbles and then his eyes get a sadden look into them.

Jimin of course, notices the change to the fox. "What do you mean by that?" He asks as he continues to state at the hybrid. Taehyung bites his lip and shakes his head. "Nevermind, just forget what I said but I do really the castle..." He fiddles with his fingers as he stares at the ground.

Jimin only nods, he doesn't want to get into his personal life. He sighs and stops and points toward a metal door. "That's the kitchen, what do you want to have?" 

Taehyung blinks in confusion as he stares at the doors to the kitchen. "Um, anything good?" He was so used for people giving him random food, especially at the camp. "I don't really care." He states. "Okay! I'll go and tell our chef. It will be a surprise, alright!"

Jimin doesn't exactly know what kind food or sweets Taehyung likes but he has a feeling that the fox might like something sweet. The younger prince takes a deep breath before he walks towards the Chef that specializes in bakery. "Hey, Himari Ae-cha!" He greets.

The older girl turns and flashes Jimin a bright smile. "Hiii, Jimin-kun! What brings you here?" Himari Ae-cha asks and then frowns slightly. "Also just call me Himari, it's way shorter than my full name." She says rolling her eyes. Jimin giggles but shakes his head. "I like using your full name." Jimin states. "Isn't Himari, Japanese and Ae-cha Korean?" Jimin asks.

Himari Ae-cha nods. "Yeah, my dad is Japanese and my mom is Korean so they just combine two names together. I like my name it's just some people get annoyed when I call them by Japanese honorifics, I mostly grew up in Japan.." She sighs but still smiles. "Jimin-kun, I mean Jimin... um, Do you wanna try one my strawberry shortcake that I just made?" She asks, grabbing down some plates.

Jimin nods. "Yeah, can you also make another plate as well. I have a new friend with me." Jimin adds softly, staring at Himari Ae-cha slightly. He always admired her and looked yo to her but he doesn't have any feelings for the older though. They're just friends, best friends and besides, Jimin knows that the King would not approve.
