"COME HERE BRAT!" They shouted over the loud pouring rain. "WE ARE GOING TO CATCH YOU NO MATTER WHERE YOU HIDE!" They yell. I quickly ran down the hill, being careful around the trees or bushes. I want to make sure I don't fall down or make much noise.
No,no,no! Fuck! They are so close to where I'm hiding! I think to myself. Where should I go? Where should I go?
"He's no where to be found, let's go!" Someone says, pretty near me. "And come empty handed? No way! You know what they are going to do if we don't catch him!" Another voice says.
I move a little from my hiding spot. The thing is... Is that I can hear them but not see them. I watch my way while I crawl quickly. I now can see a bit more better from where hiding. "But, we searched everywhere! Let's just go! It will be pointless just looking for the brat!" Whines the shorter male.
I widen my eyes! This shorter male isn't a catcher... He's one of the slaves! But why is he here? Why is he trying to catch me? Why is he calling me brat? We were best friends! I wondered. All of this doesn't make any sense!
"Oh, shut your whining! Or I'm going to beat you here!" Warns the other voice. I recognize that voice! That's the head chief of the catchers... Chief something... We never got the other part of his name. So we just called him 'Chief'.
I hear feet shuffling. Are they finally leaving? I move a little. "Did you hear that?" Questions Chief. The shorter male shakes his head. "Nope! Nothing!" Chief shakes head. "I swear I heard a branch breaking or something like that!" He groans. I look down...whoops... That was me, crawling on a branch...
"We will search for the stupid cat later! Let's go!" Chief yells at the shorter male, frustrated. I roll my eyes, rude as ever...
I watched them as they walk off. I'm waiting for them to walk off a bit more so they aren't in hearing range when I run!
After a few more seconds, I run toward something in the distance. Hopefully they don't hear me!
"S-shit!" I tripped over a root. "T-that...ugh!" I mumbled quietly. I get up, brushing my knees off but it seems pointless to do it since its pouring!
*THUNDER* "A-aish! S-s-stupid t-thunder!" I mumbled. Thunderstorms scare the hell out of me!
I continued to walk. I start to see something in the distance...
I gasp." I-is t-that a-a-a g-g-graveyard?"
How far did I run from the camp?
