Prologue (part 2)

Hira's PoV... Again:

Kushina's words finally hit me. "I can help..." I softly said as I stared off to the far wall, but a gentle squeeze to my hand snapped me out of thought. "Go... Safe them." my motherly figure said I kissed her sweaty forehead then Naruto's before heading off.

I stood before the beast as he swiped at a building. "Come on, don't fail me now," I said as I closed my eyes trying to concentrate on the small flame inside the pool of emotions. Another round of screams passed making me flinch at the sound. "Is that... HIRA?!" I heard someone yell, but I needed to concentrate so I didn't look to who was calling me.

"COME ON!" I yelled now crying from frustration and I guess that seemed to trigger the flame to burn brighter and turn into a fury fire. "Now." was the only thing said in my mind before my eyes snapped open. "HEY! I'M OVER HERE! LOOK AT ME! "I yelled out to the Nine-Tailed Fox that seemed to have been terrorizing more civilians, but whipped over to me when he heard my calling.

He came at me attacking and swiping at the building I was on. "Stop it," I said as I looked into his now Sharingan like eyes. But he kept doing what he was doing and soon got bored of me and went after some villagers and I watched as he lifted his paw and almost brought it down onto a little child so I shot down to where they were and grabbed them and flashed to a safer spot. "Are you okay?" I asked as I crouched down to eye-level to find Itachi standing there in terror. "Itachi?!" I held him a bit before I heard another crash that was followed by a yell. "Go find a safe spot, I need to go," I said as I held his cheek and kissed his head then off I went to try again.

When I got back onto the roofs I saw him attacking the shinobi that was trying to protect the village, but what caught my eyes were the grey gravity-defying hair of my old comrade igniting the fire to a whole other level. I felt the change in my eyes as I was jumping on rooftops to the group that was being taken out. I jumped at the fox when I saw him going for Kakashi, "I SAID STOP!" I shouted as I lifted my fist and punched the Tailed beast right on the side of his head. The force sent him taking a few steps back. "H..Hira? When did you get here? How long were you here? " Kakashi said in surprise. "Not now Kakashi, we have a bit of a situation on our hands," I growled glancing over to him and he jumped a bit when he looked at my eyes. "Is that... The Mangekyō Sharingan?" he said pointing to my eyes, I was surprised to know that I have unlocked this stage, but then again I still had to handle the recovering fox beast. "I... There's no time for that... I'm trying to get control of the fox, Minato-sensei had gone after the masked man after he had rescued Kushina." I said looking back qt the fox that was creeping closer to us as if to pounce. "Did you try with your Mangekyō Sharingan?" he asked and I glanced to my side that he had joined. "No..." I said before the Fox could launch I looked into his eyes. Focusing. A splitting headache was forming as the person controlling the beast was fighting back, but soon it just stopped and I could see the Fox's eyes changing into anther flowery pattern. "You did it!" Kakashi said placing a hand on my shoulder. "Not for long, I can feel him slipping a bit every so often... I can't move or else I lose him." I said having a stare-off with the beast. "Well, I've got your back."

It was dead silent as I was looking into the eyes that probably mimicked mine, Kakashi was by my side as he looked out for any attacks, but soon he seemed to relax a bit. "Sensei," he said and I felt a bit relieved, but then I heard the crying of a baby. "What's going on?" I asked panicking as I couldn't see what was going on behind me. "We are sealing the Kyuubi into Naruto," Minato-sensei said sadly. "No! Seal the beast into me, Naruto won't be able to contain all of him and he doesn't deserve to live like that. So seal him in me." I said with tears building in my eyes. "Sorry Hira, as much as hate this. The Kyuubi must be sealed into a newborn and I can't ask anyone to give up their child for this. As for your other argument, only part of it will be sealed into Naruto and the rest into Kushina and I." Sensei said. "You're too weak to handle him.. You'll both die. Please Naruto needs you, seal the other part into me then." I couldn't lose anyone else in my life not when I could do something about it.

"We don't know how he would react to you, you still have DNA of each Tailed Beast inside you, we can't risk that. Please... Hira.... All we ask is for you to take care of him after your training and when he's ready, tell him about us, but not until then. He mustn't know of the Kyuubi inside him." Kushina's came from behind me too.

I sniffled as my eyes started to let the tears fall freely. And at that moment I lost control of the Kyuubi, but I was so exhausted I fell to my knees. "Thank you Hira, you did very well but it's time," Minato-sensei said as he placed a hand on my shoulder like he always did. "No..." I sniffled wiping the tears away. "I can't lose anyone else." I softly said as I wiped away another tear. "It's going to be alright, Hira," Kushina said as she walked up to me. She placed Naruto into my arms and he quickly nestled himself into me as Kushina and Minato took me into their arms and held me tightly.

Our short moment was cut even shorter by the breaking of buildings making me sob as they let go of me and started with the seal

Sobbing I couldn't watch so my eyes were intently staring at the ground as a hear a loud thud to my side where they laid with a huge gaping hole inside their central region were the Tailed Beast attacked them.

It seems as if Naruto knew that his parents had just passed away as he started to fill on weep and mourn for his parents.

I picked him back up from where his parents had placed him on the ground. I hushed and cooed into his ear trying to repress the same feelings he has. "It's okay... They... they'll always be here with us..." I said bounced up and down on my feet to calm him down, and maybe to calm me down a bit too.
