Chapter 4🐒

A/N- Hey guys I'm sorry I haven't updated in a whiiiiillllle. I've been pretty busy and I've been dealing with a lot of stuff too and I've also been having a little writers block but I finally got the chapter ready. I'll try and update but things have been really stressful so I'll update when I can. Thanks for being patient guys

Chapter 4
Arthur's POV
'A week has passed since my talk with Elijah and I'm still on edge, but it's also been a week since that cowardly bitch Edward made my Bella cry and he hasn't been here all week. It's now Monday and I'm on my way to wake Bella up.'
"Bells come on wake up I made breakfast" I said shaking her. She grunted and snuggled further into the blankets
"Last chance or I do this the hard way"
She grunted in reply still not getting up
"Ok you asked for it" I said and proceeded to hold her hand above her head and tickle torture her.
"Haha haha ST-HAHA-OOOOOP HAHAHA I'm haha go-haha-ing to hahaha peeee hahaha"
She wheezed out. I let her go chuckling as she lays there panting and trying to catch her breath. As she lays there she playfully glares at me and slaps my arms and chest
"That's not funny. Don't do that again" she says still panting, I continue to chuckle at her
"Come on, get up before your breakfast gets cold" I say getting up, before I could open the door she asked in a low voice
"Do you think Edward will be back today or this week?"
"I'm not sure, but that boy owes you an apology for hurting you." I say trying not to show my irritation knowing it'll just upset her even more. With that I walk out the door and downstairs to finish getting ready. As I come back up from my room Bella's just about to walk out the door. I follow her and close the door just as Charlie pulls up with Bella's truck and new tires.
   Bella slips on ice as Charlie gets out of the truck making him jog over to help her up as I just stand there chuckling amused at how clumsy she is.
"Ice doesn't help the uncoordinated" said Bella as Charlie helps her up
"That's why I put new tires on your truck, the old ones were looking kinda bald" said Charlie after he helped Bella up
"Thanks dad" said Bella
"Be careful out there. There was an animal attack down at Waylons" said Charlie
"Animal attack?" Questions Bella looking at me with surprise cause she know I don't leave evidence behind. I raised my eyebrow at this also cause that meant something else was here
"Your not I'm Phoenix anymore Bells. Arthur you be careful out there too please and watch out for Bella." Said Charlie getting into his police cruiser
"Always Chief" I said and after that we went to school. As we got there I looked at Bella and she was looking at the Cullens cars again but she looked shocked and determined so I looked and saw Edwards car and narrowed my eyes, I had promised Bella I wouldn't say anything to him unless he upset her again but I made it clear that he was on thin ice for making her cry. But I guess for now I'll leave him be for now....

~Time Skip~
Today went by as usual and I was packing up my things when I saw Edward and Bella walking past my door talking and holding a golden onion for some reason. So I decided to listen to their conversation, which was about why we moved here and how I'm related to Bella but when she asked about his eye color he got defensive and frustrated and left after that. I got my bag and went towards Bella and said come on let's go we still have to go food shopping. As we got to the parking lot Bella had her head in her book and wasn't paying attention so I was leading her to her truck. When we got there she won't look up so I tried to take her book and she whined at me to at least let her finish the chapter she was on so I leaned on her truck and let her. I got my phone out and was txting one of my contacts about Klaus's ware bouts when I heard tire screeching and looked up to see that Tyler kids van skidding towards us and I went to grab Bella but was shoved to the ground and had the vans tire on my leg crushing it while Edward was above Bella. Then everyone started screaming and saying call 911. I looked up to see Edward had disappeared and I quickly moved the tire so my leg wasn't crushed luckily the bones weren't broken but I was bleeding a little and would have to go hunting soon. Bella was carted away in an ambulance and I stayed back and got my bike in the bed of Bella's truck and before I left for the hospital I decided to feed first so I went behind the school and saw one of the students there so I grabbed him and compelled him to be quiet and don't move. After I finished feeding I gave him alittle of my blood to heal his wound and compelled him to forget everything that just happened.

I got to the hospital and saw that Bella was talking to Edward and they seemed to be in an argument, so I watched to make sure that it didn't escalate.
"Why can't you just thank me and forget about it?" Said Edward
"Thank you" Bella spat out
"Your not gonna let this go are you?"
"No. I know what I saw. You were next to your car across the lot."
"Well no one's gonna believe you anyway" and I saw Edward take a threatening step forward while saying that so I stepped forward and got in the middle and said "You need to back up"
"You need to mind your business, this is between me and Bella" said Edward angrily
"You need to watch your mouth boy and Bella is my business" I said in a low voice
"I think it's time you leave" I said also with a low growl at the end and narrowed eyes. I saw him gulp and take a step back then he turned to leave. I turned towards Bella and saw her about to open her mouth, more than likely to yell at me but I gave her a look that told her 'I don't want to hear it so shut up' and with that we went home and I told her to go get some rest and to make sure to call Renee so she knows your ok and that I'd bring her dinner when it was ready and with that she went upstairs and I went to the store to get food. Once everything was done I brought Bella a bowl of soup and went to my room to grade papers and sleep.
