10 | let me introduce myself

"Where are you going?" Aphrodite asked. Jaehyun turned around and looked at Aphrodite.

"To Hades side. What else would I be doing?" Jaehyun said with a cocky tone.

"You could do that but you're not. I'm going to take you to a party with me," Aphrodite said.

"Really? What's the point of me going there?" Jaehyun asked.

"You'll get to see Taeyong there. I'm telling Hades to invite Taeyong," Aphrodite said. Jaehyun froze. She could be telling the truth but she could also being lying to him.

"You better not lie to me," Jaehyun said. As he headed back to his house. Aphrodite smiled.

She knew exactly how to control Jaehyun now.

"Dad! Please! Can I come too!" Jisung cried. Hades looked at him and shook his head.

"This party is only for adults. Once you're 18 and older you are allowed to come but since you're only 11. You cannot come," Hades said.

"Fine," Jisung sighed.

"You'll be stuck with me in charge for the rest of the night," Mark smiled and stood proudly.

"No you're not. Sicheng will be talking care of you guys," Hades said. Mark widened his eyes.

"What!" Dad come on! Please I can take care of Jisung," Mark cried. Hades shook his head.

"I'm scared you two are going to destroy this castle," Hades said.

"We'll be seeing you guys later. Sicheng please take good care of them and if you need help you can call in anyone you'd like," Persephone said. Sicheng nodded his head.

"Taeyong! Come on! We have to get going," Hades yelled. Taeyong walked down the stairs.

He was wearing a black suit with blue details at the cuffs.

"I'm coming," Taeyong said fixing his tie.

They all headed to the limo. Jisung, Mark and Sicheng were all waving at them goodbye.

"Come on. He's mature for his age. Why don't you let him in," Aphrodite said to the guard.

"Is he over the age of 18?" The guard asked.

"Just let me in. I look like I'm 18 aren't I?" Jaehyun said looking at the guard directly in the eyes. The guard looked at him and started getting scared.

"Fine. Aphrodite if you get in trouble. Don't blame it on me," The guard said.

"Thank you," Aphrodite smiled.

They entered the place. Jaehyun has never been to a party before. Let alone a party full of other gods and goddesses.

"Aphrodite. I wasn't expecting to see you here with your son," Persephone said. Aphrodite looked at her and softly smiled.

"Yes. It has a been awhile," Aphrodite chuckled. Jaehyun looked at her and rolled his eyes.

"Jaehyun correct?" Persephone asked. Jaehyun looked at her and nodded his head.

"Nice to meet you," Jaehyun said.

"Aphrodite. Hades is over there with Taeyong. Maybe the two boys can get to know each other," Persephone said.

"Gladly," Aphrodite smiled.

They walked over towards Hades. Taeyong was standing next to him. He was quiet.

"Hades. I haven't seen you in so long!" Aphrodite said. Hades looked at her and smiled.

"Aphrodite. So good to see you," Hades said. They shook hands.

"I see you brought you're son with you," Aphrodite said.

"Right. That was our plan wasn't it. How did you manage to bring your son?" Hades said looking at Jaehyun.

"I have my ways," Aphrodite said. Aphrodite turned and looked at Jaehyun. She moved his shoulder, signaling to talk to Hades.

Jaehyun didn't say anything. He just rolled his eyes.

"This is—," Aphrodite spoke up to introduce Jaehyun but Jaehyun stopped her.

"Let me introduce myself. I'm Jaehyun... first son of Aphrodite," Jaehyun paused when saying the last part. Aphrodite looked at him and smiled.

"Nice to meet you Jaehyun. This is Taeyong. I'm sure you have seen him twice around your side," Hades said.

"Yes. I have," Jaehyun said looking at Taeyong.

"Hades. Now may I talk to you in private. We need to discuss more about our plan," Aphrodite said walking over to Hades. They walked together towards Persephone who was at the bar.

"They just left us," Taeyong said looking at them walk away.

"This is even better. We can talk and not have to hide from each other anymore," Jaehyun smiled at Taeyong.

"Did you feel uncomfortable when you said son of Aphrodite?" Taeyong asked. Jaehyun froze. He then slowly nodded his head.

"Of course," Jaehyun said. He then grabbed Taeyong's hand and took him the other bar at the other side of giant castle.

"W-Why are we heading to the bar?" Taeyong asked.

"Are you really going to ask that question? To get drinks obviously," Jaehyun said. They arrived at the bar. Jaehyun sat down and Taeyong sat down right next to him.

"I don't think we should get anything," Taeyong said. Jaehyun simply ignored him and looked at the bartender.

"Two drinks please. You may choose the drinks," Jaehyun smiled at the bartender.

"Coming right up," He said.

"You're not allowed to drink!" Taeyong whispered yelled.

"Does it look like they care? If I was able to come inside then obviously they're going to serve me some alcohol," Jaehyun said.

The bartender came back and served them their drinks.

Jaehyun grabbed a cup and handed it to Taeyong.

"I'm not drinking that," Taeyong said. Jaehyun raised an eyebrow.

"You're older than me. You're allowed to drink as well. Just have a sip," Jaehyun said. Taeyong sighed and grabbed the cup.

He took a sip and his eyes widened. He looked at Jaehyun.

"This actually tastes good," Taeyong says. Jaehyun smiled and grabbed his cup.

"I told you," Jaehyun said taking a sip.

I keep forgetting Taeyong is 18 and Jaehyun is 16 in this story.
