30 | nightmare

Jisung was asleep on his bed.

He was dreaming about Taeyong and Mark and how they were happy together. No one was fighting.

"Taeyong hyung! We love you!" Jisung said. Taeyong just giggled and nodded his head at Jisung.

Later Jaehyun appeared in the dream and like that Jisung's dream was turning into a nightmare.

Taeyong was suddenly gone and Mark no longer wanted to talk to him. It was the most terrifying thing for Jisung to experience again.

Jisung suddenly woke up and quickly sat up. He was panting and sweating. He looked at the time and it was only 2 in the morning.

He sighed and looked outside the window. A tear started to fall down his cheek.

"I miss him already," Jisung mumbled. He remembers his father telling both him and Mark to forget about Taeyong and that he's no longer their brother.

He shook his head and went back to sleep. Trying to forget about that day.

Mark was still asleep. He had completely forgotten about that day. He refuses to remember that day. Although he was still pretty mad at Jisung for what he had caused.

Mark couldn't blame him though. He's still pretty young and didn't understand the situation Taeyong was in.

"I won't tell Donghyuck about your past don't worry," Yuta smiled at him. Taeyong thanked him.

"So you also know about my relationship with Jaehyun?" Taeyong asked. Yuta nodded his head.

"Also how Donghyuck and Jaehyun aren't allowed to see each other," Yuta said. Taeyong just chuckled.

"Good. Aphrodite has told you everything," Taeyong said.

"Was it kind of sudden for you to just not want to be on Hades' side," Yuta asked. Taeyong nodded his head.

"I thought I wanted to stay on his side but the minute my father told me that I can no longer see Jaehyun. I just didn't want to be with him anymore. No following his rules or anything," Taeyong said. Yuta nodded his head.

"It must have been tough for you," Yuta said. Taeyong just chuckled.

"I did what was best for me," Taeyong said.

Hades looked at Taeyong's room. He wondered what he did for him to suddenly switch sides without thinking about it.

"What did I do wrong?" Hades asked. Persephone looked at Hades.

"You did your best with him. I'm sure he's doing fine with Aphrodite. He's very much in love with Aphrodite's son and I wouldn't want to take that away from him," Persephone said. Hades suddenly widened his eyes.

"Is that what it was?" Hades asked. Persephone looked at him and raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?" Persephone said.

"Because of the rule. It wasn't even my own idea. It was Aphrodite's," Hades mumbled. Persephone just sighed.

"I guess he felt like he was on the spot. He had to choose one. So he choose his happiness over his position," Persephone said.

Hades just shook his head. He knew he was going to miss Taeyong but he had to act like he didn't so that Mark and Jisung wouldn't get any ideas.

"Whatever. I'll have Sicheng bring his things to him," Hades said.

"Remember. He's an adult now," Persephone said. Hades nodded his head.

Taeyong was in bed. He took off his uniform and was sitting in bed with a shirt and sweatpants. Jaehyun was laying down in bed right next to him.

He notices Taeyong still sitting up. He sat up and looked at Taeyong.

"You ok?" Jaehyun asked. Taeyong looked at him and nodded his head.

"I'm fine," Taeyong said looking down at his hands. Jaehyun put his hands on Taeyong's hands.

"If it's about your family. I'm sure your brothers miss you as much as you miss them. I know it's a horrible feeling. You end up missing a part of their lives," Jaehyun said. Taeyong looked up and looked at Jaehyun.

"I hope Mark and Jisung are ok. I hope they aren't fighting anymore but I know they probably are mad at each other right now," Taeyong said.

"I'm sure they'll grow up fine," Jaehyun said.

"How long has it been since you last saw Donghyuck?" Taeyong asked. Jaehyun looked down at his hands.

"It's been 9 years since I saw him," Jaehyun said. Taeyong looked at him.

"I hope you get to see him one day. Same with me," Taeyong said.

Jaehyun just smiled at him. He leaned in and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"This is why I love you so much," Jaehyun said. Taeyong just chuckled.
