15 | new rules are set

"Have fun at Taeil's?" Hades asked as soon as Taeyong entered the castle. He nodded his head.

"Do you need any help?" Taeyong asked. Hades shook his head.

"Jisung has been helping me," Hades said.

"That's good to hear," Taeyong said.

"Taeyong. Can you stay home tomorrow?" Hades asked. Taeyong looked at him and nodded his head.

"Yea. Sure. What for?" Taeyong asked.

"Aphrodite and I are to set the new rules tomorrow. I also would like for you to be there with me," Hades said.

"Oh ok. I'll be there then," Taeyong said.

"Thank you," Hades said.

Taeyong woke up that morning. He looked at the time. It was still pretty early. He decided to get ready for the day.

He got ready and headed down the stairs. He saw his father sitting down at the table getting all the papers set.

"You ready?" Hades asked looking back at him. Taeyong nodded his head. "Alright. Let's get going then".

They left the castle and headed to the car. They passed Aphrodite's side and we're going to the capital.

Once they arrived. Hades and Taeyong headed out the car. Hades saw Aphrodite standing there alone.

"Now. Why didn't Jaehyun join us?" Hades asked. Taeyong looked at him and quickly tried to get his mind off of Jaehyun so his aura wouldn't change.

"He was being quite stubborn with me. Not only that I couldn't bring Donghyuck with me since he's so young still. The same age as your Mark," Aphrodite said.

"That's nice to know," Hades said.

"Are you two ready?" Zeus asks as he steps up onto the platform.

"Yes," They both said in unison.

"Alright. Let's begin with the new rule," Zeus said.

It started. Hades was the first to speak. He started to talk about his side. Soon after Aphrodite talked about her side. In the end they both declared that they had agreed that those from Aphrodite's side and Hades' side are forbidden to fall in love with each other.

Taeyong stood there. He heard everything that was going on. His heartbeat was beating quickly. He started to sweat a bit and was getting extremely shaking. He asked someone next to him for water. They handed him the water and he chugged it down.

He shook his head. He continued to listen.

Hades then stated that those who break the rule have two choices. They either switch to the other side or no longer fall in love with each other.

Taeyong wanted to cry. He wanted to break down and started crying. He had already broke the rule. He was falling in love with Jaehyun.

"I'm sorry," Taeyong whispered as he looked down at his hands.

"Fuck. This is ridiculous," Jaehyun mumbled. He was in the crowd. He had covered himself to make sure no one noticed him.

He glanced over and saw Taeyong. He noticed how freaked out he looked. How scared he was.

"I gotta do something," Jaehyun mumbled. He got out of the crowd and tried to walk closer to Taeyong.

Jaehyun noticed that Taeyong was talking to somebody. He got up and walked off the platform from where he was.

"Taeyong!" Jaehyun whispered. Taeyong looked up and saw Jaehyun there. He widened his eyes and tried to walk away from him.

Jaehyun raised an eyebrow. He followed him and grabbed his arm. Taeyong turned his head and looked at him.

"Why'd you get off the platform?" Jaehyun asked. Taeyong knew that they were going to get caught from where they were. He took him and dragged him somewhere more private.

"I felt sick. That's why I got off," Taeyong said.

"So then why were you trying to ignore me?" Jaehyun asked. Taeyong froze.

"Did you not hear what they said! Those from Aphrodite's side and Hades' side are forbidden to fall in love," Taeyong said.

"And. They don't have to know," Jaehyun said as he grabbed Taeyong closer. Taeyong started to blush. Jaehyun had his arm around Taeyong's waist.

"I can't," Taeyong looked down. Jaehyun sighed.

"I promise. It'll be our secret," Jaehyun said. He kissed Taeyong on the forehead.

"You promise?" Taeyong asked. Jaehyun nodded his head. Taeyong softly smiled. He kissed Taeyong on the cheek.

"I love you," Jaehyun said unconsciously. Taeyong's face started to get bright red.

"I-I love you t-too," Taeyong stuttered.

"Come on. Let's get away from here," Jaehyun said. He grabbed his hand and intertwined them.

They walked away and headed someone where else.
