We walked home hand in hand, smiling at each other, through the small path leading up to the house. We were at the door when Horace stopped me,

"Um, Mia?"

I smiled, "Yes?"

"I just want to say, how glad I am that we're together, and-"

I stopped him by giving him a kiss on the lips, "Come on, let's go inside,"

As soon as we went inside, we came face to face to Emma, she had her arm crossed with her mouth in a smirk. I saw her eyes flicker to my hand, with is still holding Horace's, that only made Emma's smile grow bigger.

"Horace, mind if I borrow Emilia for a bit?" She asked,

"Well-" Horace began,

"Thanks, see you later,"

Emma grabbed my arm and dragged me out into our room and sat me down on our bed, "Soooooo,"

"So what?" I asked, even though I know exactly what she meant, I just enjoy the simple pleasure of annoying Emma,

Emma just glared at me, "You know exactly what I mean! What happened on your date!"

"Your what now?" I heard someone say behind me,

"Oh! Hi Enoch," I said nervously, "What do you mean?"

"I heard what I heard," Enoch said, glaring at me, from the door, one brow raised, "Now what was Emma talking about a date," He walked into the room,

"Hey Mia, so do you-" Horace said, poking his head into the room, then widened his eyes, "Oh, um,"

"Hey Emma, have you seen Emilia, I've been looking for her all day," Bronwyn exclaimed, bursting in,

"Bronwyn! There you are, have you found her yet, oh, um what is going on?" Hugh asked, rushing in, with Fiona right behind her.

"That's what I was wondering!" Enoch exclaimed, throwing his hands up to emphasize the point,

"Okay, why is everyone in my room!" Emma shouted, "You know what, can you just tell me what happened," she turned to face me, as did everyone else,

I took a deep breath, then walked over to Horace, grabbing his hand, I said, "We are now dating,"

"What?!" Enoch shouted so loud that everyone shushed him,

"Shhh, shut up Enoch!" Emma hissed, "So what did you guys do on your date?"

"Well," I glanced at Horace, gave his hand a squeeze and replied, "We had lunch and a show at Melody, then took a scenic path home,"

"Once again, what?!" Enoch screamed,

"Well, we did expect that," Hugh said, shrugging, Fiona nodded behind him,

"Wh-" Enoch started to say,

"Is that all you're going to say! What!" I shouted,

"No," he mumbled, "But I just don't get it! Why him, he's so weak and so small, and so-"

"Stop!" I shouted, "He is an amazing and nice peculiar, unlike someone I know, cough, You, cough,"

"W-Well," Enoch said, bewildered, "Well then I forbid you to date him!"

I walked towards him, my pointer finger pointing at his chest "You!" I poked him hard, "Do not get to say who I date! You!" I poked him again, "Can not going to judge Horace like tha! And you!" I poked him for the third time, "Do not control me!"

He snorted, then left abruptly,

"Um, we should probably leave you guys alone," Hugh said awkwardly, soon enough everyone cleared out of my room. Then it was just Emma and I,

"So," She said, closing the door, then dragged me to sit down her bed, "What happened?"

"Well....."

* * *

"Oh my bird!" Emma screeched, once I finished talking, "I can't believe that happened! I wish I was there when it happened!"

"If you were, it would've been very awkward," I said, "Anyways, I am just glad everything worked out and no one's mad, except for Enoch,"

"Yeah, he did not that that well," Emma agreed,

"Oh well, I'm going to go downstairs to get a glass of water," I said, walking out the door and down the stairs,

"Listen," I heard someone say, "Stay away from my sister or else," It was Enoch. I took a few steps closer until I can see him, I gasped. Enoch was holding Horace against the wall, threatening him.

"E-Enoch, what are you doing!" Horace said, scared, I felt my heart break a little when I heard him. I glared at him, angry, then I focused my attention on a large pitcher of water instead.

I held out my hands and used my hydrokinesis to levitate the water up and hover over Enoch's head. I saw Horace's eyes widen and catch mine, then smiled just a little,

"What!" Enoch exclaimed, "What are you laughing at!"

"N-N-Nothing," Horace stuttered,

I let go of my hold on the water, letting it drop on Enoch's head, drowning him in water. I burst out laughing as Enoch started coughing up mouthfuls of water. I met eyes with Horace again, and he smiled,

"W-What?! Emi-" said Enoch as I stepped out

"I'm going to stop you right there," I said, holding my hand out before me, "You can only call me with a nickname if you are one of my friends, and you are not one of my friends," Then I added, "Mr O'Conner,"

"Oh really," He glared at me, "You're going to go that way? You're pathetic!" He hissed,

"No! You're pathetic!" I pulled my fist back, ready to punch him,

"Wait," Horace said, stopping me, "You don't have to help fight my battle,"

I raised, an eyebrow, "Really,"

He laughed, "Come on Mia, have some trust in good old Horace,"

I shrugged, "Okay,"

Horace pulled his fist back, wound up and punched him.

"Oh for bird's sake!" I said once I noticed that it barely done any damage, then I punched him hard in the face,

"Ow!" Enoch exclaimed, clutching his nose, blood seeping through his hands, I grinned.

"Miss O'Conner," I heard Miss Peregrine say, "What are you doing!"

Uh oh!
