In Your Dreams

Chapter 2

I was standing in the house in my old loop, I saw little mind reader, Lola, ran towards me, 

"Emi!" She cried, "I-I saw a wight,"

But just as I was about to respond, when a tall man wearing all black and dark sunglasses, and he called everyone out,

"Well hello," he said, "If you may follow me out the loop, it will save all of us a lot of trouble,"

I woke up with sweat streaming down my forehead, so I went downstairs to get  a cup of warm milk to calm me down. So a pulled out a jug of milk and-

"Oh! Emilia right?" I heard a voice ask from behind me, it startled me so much I spilled the milk onto the floor,

"Oh! I'm so sorry!" Horace said, grabbing a rag to wipe up the mess,

"It's all right," I said, grabbing another rag to help him wipe it up, but as I bent down, I accidentally crashed my head into his,

"Oh! I'm so sorry," I apologized,

"It's all right," he said, clutching his head,

So we continued wiping it up, and I blushed, every time my hand brushed his. 

"So what are doing up so late?" He asked once we finished cleaning up,

"Oh, well, I had a nightmare," I said, blushing,

"Well then tell me about it," he said, taking my hand, "I know all about nightmares,"

"Oh, it was nothing," I said blushing, "Just flashbacks from the day my loop was raided,"

"Okay?" He said, smiling, "Well, good night,"

"Good night,"

Early this morning I woke up, well it's less of me waking up and more of Emma, who is my roommate, waking me up.

"Wakey Wakey!" Emma said, whipping off my covers, "The early bird gets the worm,"

"But I don't want worms," I mumbled, "I want waffles," 

"Great, there are waffles downstairs, and all you need to do is to go down there and get it,"

"Fine," I groaned, "Just give me a sec, I'll be right down,"

"Fine," she said then left,

I quickly changed into a plain white, lace dress and tied my hair up into a bun,

"Oh wow, everyone's already here," I said as I came downstairs and found them all already eating, 

"Here, I saved you a seat," Horace said, patting at the seat next to him,

"Thanks," I said gratefully, then took a seat, "Ooooo, waffles," I grabbed a waffle and topped it of with strawberries, syrups, and a lot of whipped cream, and started to dig in.

"Um, Emilia," Horace said,

"Yeah?"

"You've got a little whipped cream all over your mouth," he said, sniffling a laugh, gesturing to my mouth, "Here, I'll get it for you,"

He took a napkin, and started wiping my mouth, 

"Thanks," I said, "So what are you having for breakfast,"

He looked down at his own plate, which had an omelette and fruits on it, wow, my breakfast compared to his looked like something that would give you a sugar rush,
