Soulmates. Were those even real things? How are they set? How do we know for sure if someone is our soulmate or not? These questions were running like wildfire through Tyler's mind.

According to Greek Mythology, humans were originally created with four arms, four legs, and a head with two faces. Fearing their power, Zeus split them into two separate beings, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other halves.

That's just a theory though. There's another theory that made some sense to Tyler.

Some people are drawn to each other because their atoms were near each other when the universe was created and over time the same atoms keep coming back together.

Eh, who knows the real meaning behind soulmates? The only thing Tyler knew for sure was that in just three days, on his 18th birthday, a black mark will appear somewhere on his body where his soulmate is destined to touch him. His soulmate could live anywhere in the world, be any gender, look like anything, be any age, and be any sexuality. none of those bothered Tyler except for the last one. He is bisexual but what if his soulmate is a straight guy or a lesbian girl?

Tyler lays in bed thinking to himself about his soulmate. What if his soulmate didn't like him back? What if his soulmate didn't want to date him? Could soulmates stay as friends?

All these thoughts were exhausting and it was already three in the morning. School starts in five hours and Tyler needs at least a few hours of sleep so he turns to his side and snuggles into the blankets and drifts into a nice sleep dreaming of his soulmate.
