JINXX'S POV
To see her break down like this broke my heart. I don't know why, but I felt an attraction to her, almost like a magnetic force that was forcing me to her. I needed to be there for her. I couldn't let her go back to the streets, I won't! I need to get to know her. I said I'd never leave her and I meant it.
I looked down and realized she had fallen asleep in my arms. I carefully picked her up and carried her to my bunk once again. She needed to sleep off the events of the last few hours. I went and found the guys in the bus living area. I sat down and sighed.
"Whats wrong Jinxx, you're not usually like this with women." Andy said.
"I just..I don't know.. I feel attracted to her, but not like I want to get married right now attracted. I just want to get to know her. "
"We could bring her on tour!" CC yelled. I wanted to, but Jon wouldn't agree to it. We can't bring a random person on tour with us, Jon wouldn't allow it. I told CC and he frowned, he has really taken a liking to Mariah as well, but his was more like a big brother type of liking. Come to think of it, all the guys liked her as a sister, except me, who liked her a lot more than a sister.
I looked at the other four men and they all had similar facial expressions.
"Can't we just ask Jon?" CC asked. We all looked at Andy with pouty faces. He looked almost frightened at the thought of talking to jon. He should be though, Jon was nice, yes, but he was also demanding and what he said went.
"You brought her here man." Ashley said.
Andy sighed and grabbed his phone. He left the bus and we all waited until he came back in. Andy soon came back in and the look on his face said it all. He was angered and somewhat sad. The mood on the bus instantly changed from the laughter of CC's stunts to sadness. She would have to leave and I would break my promise to her. I would leave her and she would be left alone.
"He said we can't have someone on the bus that isn't an employee, best friend, or spouse." Andy said sadly.
"But she is our friend!" Jake yelled.
"I think he means a friend we've known for years, not hours." Andy said. "So that leaves spouse, which is impossible and employee."
"I mean , she could be an employee, but what would we hire her to do?" I asked.
"I don't know." We sat there for at least twenty minutes thinking of any possible job and ignoring Ashley's idea of sex slave and play toy, both of which earned him a slap to the back of the head from CC and Jake who were sitting beside him.
"French Maid?" Ashley said hopeful, earning him another smack to the head by the drummer and guitarist. I wanted to smile at his antics, but I was to busy thinking, when I got an idea.
"That's it Ashley!" I yelled, causing all the other guys to yell "WHAT!"
"No, not french maid, you dumb asses, but what about just a cleaning lady, we could even have her make food if she wanted. Jon's always complaining about how messy we are. Let her be our fully clothed maid, and he won't complain anymore." I said the fully dressed part while glaring daggers at our purdy minded bassist. He scoffed and said "fine" in a mock pissed voice.
"Thats genius Jinxx, and I guess Ashley, since it was technically your idea." Andy said while taking his phone and running out of the bus to presumably call Jon. I hope this works, I just hope shes OK with working for us.
Andy came in a few minutes later with a small smile on his face. This was a good sign.
"She's hired if she agrees." He said causing all the guys, including me to jump up and attack him with an ever so manly group hug. I wanted to go jump on her and tell her the news because I was so happy, but I figured that would not be a good idea considering she seems like the type that wold be super cranky. The guys and I sat down and Andy put Batman on for what seems like the millionth time.
Half way through the movie, I heard the bathroom door open close, and then open a few minutes later. Here goes nothing, I thought as Mariah came in the living area and sat beside me.
"Hey." She said. "why is everyone so quiet?"
"Well we need to talk to you."
MARIAH'S POV
Those word made me super scared. I don't know why but I instantly felt hurt. I just nodded and looked at all the guys.
A billion thoughts went through my head. Oh my God, this is it, they're throwing me off the bus. I have to go back to the streets. I have to find another living place first. I didn't realize I was crying until I felt a thumb underneath my eye, wiping a tear. I really did love these guys , even if i just met them two days ago. They were so nice to me. I guess all things must come to an end.
"Hey, Hey, are you alright?" Jinxx said while gently, yet firmly shaking my shoulders.
"Ye..yeah, I'm fine." I said.
"OK then, well we were thinking, since you have no place to go, and no job, if you maybe want to work for us as a cleaning person and maybe for extra money, a cook? If you don't know how to cook, that's fine, but as a cleaning lady?"
I was absolutely shocked. They wanted me to live with them. I would have to work, but then again, I wouldn't have to worry about a place to sleep or the weather being to cold.
"YES" I yelled, almost to enthusiastically. "And yes, I can cook." All the guys jumped up and I was instantly squished in a hug by 5 guys who have just now possibly saved my life.
I finally found my place in this world, it just so happens to be on a bus with 5 guys in a rock band.
