Five days before Christmas (Todoroki)

Day 1

It was Christmas; at least a week until Christmas, so Christmas time. Every year a trashy boyfriend or man of mine came along stole my heart and gave it back the next Christmas with pieces missing. Some form my dignity, my pride, my honor, but most of all from my trust. Every year my trust would decrease and decrease till the only bit I had left was for me and the people who had never yet hurt me. The ones who had stuck by my side, and truly wanted to dig deeper.

My friends Mina, Jiro, Momo, Ochaco, and Tsu wanted to plan a Christmas party with a few of our old class mates Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki. Tsu and ochaco are dating, and so are Momo and Jiro, and Midoriya and bakugo are dating. It just leaves Todoroki and I to be odd balls.

They most likely brought me and Todoroki because they didn't want us to feel left out. Which personally I'd rather had been. I never really liked Christmas; even as a child. My father got drunk almost every year and destroyed the entire night until my mother had enough and divorced him. The funny thing is...

My birthday is on Christmas. So every year was a stab in the past for not only me but my mom too. I never had any siblings.

I was out shopping for my friends. I had gotten ochaco a necklace that said 'out of my world', Tsu a bracelet that had a wooden carved frog on it, Jiro a decorated guitar pic, and Momo a wine glass that had a picture of Ariel on it. I was happy with them, and I hopped they would be to. I decided to take a break from any more shopping and, to stop by a small coffee shop by the food court.

"And what would you like" the woman at the counter asked.

"A vanilla Frappuccino please medium" I looked at her as I handed her the correct amount and averted my eyes to the table in the corner where I would try and fight for after I got my dri- "umm ma'am can I get a name for that order?" The woman asked breaking me out of my trance.

"It's (y/n)" I said blushing in embarrassment for spacing out. The person behind me was laughing and so were a few other people. I moved out of the way and towards the end of the counter to pick up my drink.

Once I had it I made my way over to the said booth and slid in without looking to see if anyone was there yet. I regret that.

"Can I help you?" A calm voice asked and as soon as I heard sound looked up. Todoroki eyes widened a little from not recognizing me."Sorry (l/n) I didn't realize it was you" he apologized he's not the first one. "It's okay.. uhh I'll move" I was about to get up when he stopped me "oh it's okay I actually would like some company while I drink this." He averted his eyes to his vanilla Frappuccino, and I sat back down.

"You have good taste in drinks huh" todoroki's said smiling.

I nodded a little "I guess" Todoroki frowned a little "you never really were much of a talker, even in school I'd only ever see you sitting in silence or nodding when having conversations. Even when teachers asked you questions"

"We're you stalking me" I asked tilting my head to the side as I do most times I ask a question. Todoroki's eyes seemed to widen agin "N-no of course not I would never"
