As soon as I get out of soccer practice, I see Anne and Alex jog to the doors of the school. I run over to them and open the door for them. "Thanks Jake!" Alex says with a huge smile. Jesus! She's too pretty! I can feel my face heating up. I try to cover it with a smile but I watch Anne start to look wary of my smile. "Nice day isn't it?" I say nervously as I walk next to them. Anne immediately stares at me like I'm crazy. I mentally slap myself in the face as I think, How's the weather? I don't know you tell me, you're Mr. Smooth.

Alex chuckles to herself as Anne watches her carefully. I've never seen her look so lost in her life. "Hey Alex, why don't you go ahead....me and Jake here have to talk." Damn, I don't think I've ever met anyone as scary as Anne. The look she's giving me is scaring the shit out of me! Oh wonderful spirits above, please help me survive this. As Alex walks into the locker room, Anne takes me by the collar and pushes me against the wall.

"OW! Anne! Please don't hurt me!" I say in a terrified voice. I put my hands up in the air as a sign of surrender. She smirks and tightens her hold on my collar. "First I want you to call me Anne, the supreme ruler of the world before I let you go." "You little-" "Uh-uh Jake, I don't think we want a certain friend of ours to realize that her best friend stalks her when she's with other guys. Do we?" "Ugh, Anne -" "And don't go telling me that it's not true! I've saw you hiding in the bushes when me, her and Julie went to a movie with Thomas Fletcher. Or when she had a project with Steven Edwards and Logan Martin."

I blush. "Ah, well...that was...." "Say it and I won't tell her Sanders." she says with an evil grin. Anne has a thing for calling me by my last name instead of Jake like any normal person, but as you probably can tell.... Anne is not a normal person.

"Well Sanders? I'm waiting..." she says in a mocking voice. "Fine! You win. I am not worthy to be in the presence of ANNE THE SUPREME RULER OF THE WORLD!" I shout in the empty hallway. Anne looks at me with a satisfied look and says "Damn right you aren't." while disappearing into the locker room.

I run into the locker room before she decides that the 'not being worthy' thing didn't satisfy her. As soon as I enter the locker room, I see Nick, Max and Aaron waiting for me like they always do. I let out a sigh of relief as soon as I see them. They stare at me like I'm crazy but I tell them what hell Anne put me through.

Max and Aaron laugh while Nick winces. "Sorry Jake, she can be a handful at times." he says apologetically. "Not a problem man." I tell him. Max gives me a goofy smile and asks "Didn't you say earlier today that Alex saw the paper that you wrote her name on?" "She did?!" Aaron says with surprise. "She sure did! But our brave Jake is too chicken to tell her how he really feels." "That's a lie!" I shout, but Aaron and Max keep smiling their goofy smiles.

"Aww! Poor ickle Jakey wakey is too chicken!" Aaron says in an annoying baby voice. Honestly you'd think that I was talking to toddlers. "Aaron." Nick says with warning in his voice. "Go change Jake, we'll wait here." I nod my head and run to my locker. I quickly change into my regular clothes and we walk out of the locker room together.

"Hey guys!" Alex says in a happy tone. Anne just gives me an evil smirk while walking up to Nick and giving him a kiss. "Nice to see you too Anne." Max says. "There you guys are!" We turn and see Julie waiting for us. We walk over to her and see that she wasn't alone.

Standing behind a wall is the one, the only "Victor Samson." Anne says in a hateful voice. He winks at her, "Nice to see you too Red."
