Christmas pt2

Marinette's PoV
Waking up, I head to my balcony and take in the view of snow falling. At the sight of people, I sing, "Merry Christmas!"
They sing back and I quickly run inside. Dressing up warmly, I head down to the bakery.
"Merry Christmas Marinette!" 2 voices sings.
"Merry Christmas Juleka and Rose!" I sing.
I see my parents and hug them, "Merry Christmas mom and dad!"
"You too dear!" Mom smiles.
"Merry Christmas Marinette!" Dad cheerfully booms.
I giggle. Just then, the door swings open and Adrien, his mom and Gorilla walk in.
"Merry Christmas~~~!" I sing.
"Merry Christmas Dupain-Cheng family!"
Emilie places some money in the donation box and says to Adrien, "ah, I think I will finally tell you of a story to do with this bakery Adrien!"
He pulls away from laying a peck on my cheek and says, "oh? I'm intrigued!"
They sit at the table right next to the front of the bakery.
"When you were younger, we brought you here and you and Marinette, when she was younger, were playing. You both got along back then...I remember it was Marinette because it was the owner's child, and since there's only Marinette, I assume it was her. You both would've been 5, I think?"
Adrien and I look at eachother and laugh.
Looking at me intently, he says, "we really are destined to be together..."
Rolling my eyes, I smirk, "I guess so chaton...shall we go up?"
Nodding, he takes my hand and drags me upstairs.
"H-hey, hang on-"
"You said let's go up, so we are going up!" He sings. I giggle as we sit on my bed.
"Present time!" I sing as he leans in for a kiss.
"Aww, c'mon m'lady..." he pouts.
Laughing, I waggle my finger, "no way mister, save that for later..."
Whining, he wraps his arms around my waist, "please~~, just one?"
Giving in, I connect our lips for a brief few seconds, "you...happy?"
"Oh yeah...totally..."
Pulling away, we exchange presents.
"Right, here you go..." I whisper.
He opens his present. It was a jumper that I made (obviously) and it had his classic striped top but then the flowers on my top along the bottom part of the left side.
"I've got one as well!" I giggle as I put my copy on.
"Aww, couple jumpers!" Adrien excitedly sings.
(There will be lots of singing 😂)
I open my present from him and gasp, "ADRIEN AGRESTE. Is this-"
"Heck yeah! This silk is from the far ends of Asia! I made sure that it was done in a sustainable way!"
Excitedly, I carry the silk across the room and slide it into the cupboard that stores my fabrics. Grabbing a label, I write 'Christmas Silk' on it, sticking it over the previous label.

We take eachother's hands as Tikki and Plagg play some music.

"Rockin' around the Christmas tree
At the Christmas party hop!"
"Mistletoe hung where you can see
Every couple tries to stop!"
"Rockin' around the Christmas tree
Let the Christmas spirit ring!"
"Later we'll have some pumpkin pie
And we'll do some caroling!"

"You will get a sentimental feeling when you hear!
Voices singing, let's be jolly!
Deck the halls with boughs of holly!"

There is a dance break and Adrien looks at me, smirking.
"Careful, your chat is showing!" I giggle.
He chuckles and we dance. Tikki and Plagg also dance and they smile at the sight of Adrien trying to pull me towards a mistletoe.
"No way Chaton!" I giggle

Cheering, Adrien swings me around. I happily cling onto him.
We dance and enjoy ourselves all day, with a few occasions of heading down to see people coming to put donations in for Christmas log.

"EEEEEE!" I squeal at the sight of Lukloe, "MERRY CHRISTMAS CHLOEEEEE! MEERY CHRISTMAS LUKAAAAA!"
Adrien chuckles, "ok princess, calm down..."
I excitedly say, "ADRIEN. You don't understand! THEY HAD THEIR FIRST CHRISTMAS WITH CHLOE'S PARENTS! In all the 4-5 years they've been together!"
Chloe and Luka awkwardly chuckle, "ahh, c-can we have our log?"
"Rightie o!" I squeal again.
"Princess, go wait upstairs, I'll give it to the-"
"No I got it!" I run to grab a log and am about to trip when Chloe grabs me.
"Careful," she winks, "princess..."
Blushing, I squeak, "CH-CHLOE!"
She laughs and grabs the log, singing, "Merry Christmas again Dupain-Cheng family and Adrien!"
Adrien leads me upstairs and I blush, "damn, Chloe's so much more...charming now she's nicer! No wonder Luka fell for her!"
Clutching his heart, Adrien whines, "don't tell me you're falling out of love with me!"
Laughing, I say, "NEVER!"

Later on, we head to the Couffaine boathouse for a party. EVERYONE we know is going to be there. Arriving at the boathouse, I see a familiar silhouette. No, two...
Feeling tears fall down my face, I gasp, "Marianne? Master-ah, Uncle Fu..."
Adrien places his hand son my shoulder and I wipe the tears, "m'lady, gently..."
Master Fu smiles, "merry Christmas Marinette...my coccinelle!"
I cry, "wh-what?!"
He winks and I gasp, falling onto the floor.
Running into his arms, he smiles and pats my back. The tears stream down and Marianne sings, "ok, ok! That's enou~~~gh..."
Master Fu pulls away and smiles, "I remember..."
I smile as I cry, which builds into a laugh, "am I in a dream?"
Everyone laughs.
"Guys?"
"Mari, girl, Adrien and I arranged this for you...merry Christmas..."
I stand up and hug my boyfriend and best friend, "you two are the best..."
Master Fu takes me inside the house to talk.
"Well Marinette, how is it being guardian?"
"Mmm, not bad...I'm just...scared..."
"Why's that?"
I take a deep breath, "it's been 5 years. Since Hawkmoth's defeat and since Lila stole the miraculous..."
Master Fu nods, "and?"
"And...and I don't want to lose my memories Master Fu!" I cry.
Master Fu smiles, "I knew it was that...is this what has been stressing you out? Reaching the end of your life but forgetting everything?"
I nod.
"Oh Marinette, look at me! I remember everything!"
Humming, I exclaim, "how did you?"
Smiling, he says, "Marianne...she told me everything when we got to London. But she told me, for your safety that we should stay in London. She did it, all very gradually. First by saying that you are Ladybug and Adrien is Chat. Then she slowly told me about me being the former guardian. Eventually, I woke up one night and I remembered."
Master Fu takes my hand, "I believe in you Marinette...or else why would I have entrusted you with the role of guardian?"
Sniffing, I nod, "ok..."

We head back to the crowd and Master Fu joins Marianne, who was with my grandma and grandpa!
"GRANDMA!" I squeal, "GRANDPA!"
"Merry Christmas little tyke!" Grandpa chuckles.
"Merry Christmas Marinette!" Grandma hugs me.
I'm surprised that they're in the same place at the same time! They hate eachother! What a wonderful time Christmas is!
I catch up with all the surprise people that were there.
This is the best Christmas ever!
