A young 15 year old girl with chocolate brown hair  and green eyes. was sitting up against a tree reading a book.She always wanted to go on an adventure just like in one of her books she thought it would be so thrilling and exciting.Instead she was to be married to Lieutenant Edward Norrington

It all started  that night that horrible dinner

Amelia Evander was sat at the table for dinner wearing her light pink corset dress and her hair was in curls.

Edward and her father was talking about Edward's promotion that was happening in a few weeks from now. Then Amelia heard something about pirates she perked up at the conversation.

She said interrupting her father and the Lieutenant - I think it be rather exciting to meet a pirate!

Her mother gasps and Her father said Amelia!!! I will have none of your poppycock

"Think again, Miss.Evander Vile and dissolute creatures, the lot of them. I intend to see to it that any man who sails under a pirate flag or wears a pirate brand gets what he deserves ? a short drop and a sudden stop."  Edward spoke with pride when he said this, proud to get rid of all the pirates

Amelia gave him a cold glare when no one was looking.. Yes they are some very bad pirates that deserve death but there some good one's to that don't deserve to hang she thought

After the Lieutenant left Lucy sat in front of her parents they wanted to talk to her.

Amelia darling

Yes father she said

"Your mother and I have something to tell you." A smile started to play at the corner's of his lips.

"What is it father?

"As you know, we have been taking into careful consideration your future. You are growing into quite a fine young lady, and as such, it is nearing time for you to marry," her father began.

I know but father I do not wish to be married or not yet anyways I want to see the world like in one of my books She said

Amelia it's time to stop being a silly little girl and it's time for you to grow up,Amelia stayed quiet

Now Darling,to be quite frank...I talked with Edward last week and we agreed that you will marry Him ," Her  father said.

No!! I had tears in my eyes

"Sweetheart" mother said sitting down beside me brushing my hair, You won't be married until you're 19th birthday.

Mother please no I hardly know him and he's much older than me. A few tears rolled down her cheeks

The Lieutenant comes from a wealthy family, and this will ensure your comfort and happiness,Mother spoke softly

"My comfort maybe, but not my happiness. I don't love him!" she protested, and suddenly the smile on my father's face turned into a scowl, but before he could speak my mother spoke softly to me

"Amelia, we're doing this because we love you. It is a very fine match, you and Edward," her father said, irritation biting at his voice

No! No buts you will be married in two years time my father yelled

She stood up and ran to my room crying . She cried myself to sleep
