Ch 9

Amelia was in a longboat with  Gibbs, Timothy, Eloise , Pintel, Ragetti and Mart, the rest of the crew was with Jack. Jack she thought with so much hurt and anger, He wanted me just to forget it? My first kiss? Like it never happened?.

"Why is Jack afraid of the open ocean?" Eloise asked. Amelia thought who cares

"Well missy ," Gibbs replied. "If you believe such things, there's a beast does the bidding of Davy Jones. A fearsome creature with giant tentacles that'll suction your face clean off, and drag an entire ship down to the crushing darkness. The Kraken. They say the stench of its breath..." He shuddered.

"Imagine, the last thing you know on God's green earth is the roar of the Kraken and the reeking odor of a thousand corpses. If you believe in such things." Amelia's eyes when't big

"And the key will spare him that?" Timothy asked, Key what key? Amelia listen with curiousness

"Well, that's the very question Jack wants answered. Bad enough even to go visit..." Gibbs lowered his voice "... Her."

"Her?" She questioned. Probably another one of his trollop's she thought. Gibbs nodded.

The boats arrived at a shack which stood above the murky swamp, it didn't look the most stable and  she guessed whoever lived here didn't get many visitors. As we began to climb out of the boats Jack turned to them

"No worries, mates. Tia Dalma and I go way back. Thick as thieves. Nigh inseparable we are... were... have been... before." Jack finished off with a nervous tone. She rolled her eyes and climbed.

Amelia walked inside the shack to be greeted by a dark-skinned woman with long black dreadlocks, feathers in her hair, a ragged dress and shawl, and many bead necklaces .. How peculiar she thought

"Jack Sparrow."

"Tia Dalma." Jack replied, striding over to her and almost knocking his head on a hanging jar of rocks.

"I always knew the wind was going to blow you back to me one day... You girl she said spotting Amelia  she walked over to her and the strange woman touched Amelia's face with both of her hands.

You look just like her the strange woman said, Amelia scrunch her eyebrows in confusion

She walked back over to jack who looked confused like everyone else.

You know I demand payment" She said sharply

"We bought payment" Jack said as someone brought over the cage that contained the monkey.

"Look!" Jack said, and he shot the monkey who screeched but didn't die. Amelia jumped looking at the monkey

"An undead monkey, top that!" He continued.

"The payment is fair" Tia decided. She unlatched the cage and let the thing go free.

"We're looking for this" Jack put down the cloth to reveal the drawing Amelia walked over to get a better look

"And what it goes to"

"The Compass you bartered from me. It cannot lead you to dis?" She asked, Jack fidgeted slightly but didn't answer.

Jack glanced quickly at Amelia

"Ayee... Your key go to a chest, and it is what lay inside the chest you seek. She said smirking and winking at jack

Him carved out him heart, lock it away in a chest, and hide de chest from de world. De keys, he keep wid him at all times." Tia told them. Ewww that is disgusting who would do such a thing? And how is it he's still alive? Amelia thought

"Davy Jones cannot make port. Cannot step on land but once every ten years. Land is where you are safe. And so you will carry land wid you..." She said

We have a need to find the Flying Dutchman" Jack said.

Tia Dalma. pulled jack aside jack smirked at her

Why tia I would love too but there's no time me crew is waiting for me jack winked

Jack sparrow keep the girl safe don't let Davy Jones get her.. Jack looked at her oddly

What in the bloody hell are you talking about woman?

Just do it and she pushed him out

Jack told Amelia to stay in the cabin she had argued with him. She was pacing around the room breathing anxiously and twirling her hair she had a bad feeling a very bad feeling.  There a was loud boom. She grabbed the bed post to steady herself as the ship rocked violently.

She ran out of the cabin to see what was going on she didn't care what jack told her do to.

Then, she felt something grab her and it felt like a tentacle?
She was crying and screaming
it was going to pull her overboard but then it stop

Jack pulled her to her feet , I thought I told you to stay in the cabin?!! Jack yelled he was worried

Your so stupid luv he said quickly kissing her forehead. He was pulling her along back to the cabin.

Jack sparrow! A voice called he froze he turned around slowly to see Davy Jones, He push Amelia more behind him Amelia peeked around  jack she was so curious she saw a tall man with a wooden leg, crab arms for arms, and tentacles for a beard walked over to them. He looked scary she hold jack's arm

You've been captain of the Black Pearl for thirteen years. That was our agreement" Davy spoke his beard was moving she shivered

"Technically, I was only captain for two years, then I was viciously mutinied upon" Jack said.

"Then you were a poor captain, but a captain nonetheless! Have you not introduced yourself all these years as Captain Jack Sparrow?" His crew laughed.

Davy Jones grabbed Jack's hand, Jack made a noise of pain Amelia stood up and ripped jack's hand away from Davy Jones

Don't touch him!! She said, Davy looked at her like he saw a ghost

Annabelle? Davy Jones says  Amelia looked at him oddly that's my grandmothers name she thought,He was going to touch her face but jack slapped it away.Davy seemed to snap out of it and Davy looked at one of his crew and nodded

I'll take your "Bonnie lass" as payment, Amelia felt something picked her up she was screaming

Let me go!!! ,Jack was held back by two of the fish people

"Let go of her!!" Jack snarled at him as he carried her on to the Flying Dutchman she was screaming and crying the ship sailed off.

Jack thought to himself I will get you back he just had to get his Amelia back.

He threw her into the cell and locked her up and then said,

"Hope your accommodations are as good as they are on the Pearl." As he laughed evilly. He then walked away.She was crying she was absolutely terrified.
