Ch.6
Amelia ate her dinner in the cabin she was worried about jack. She didn't know it was him she felt really bad about hitting him.
She laid next to him under the covers just looking at him. She smiled to herself and brushed her hand across his suntanned cheek. She expected his skin to feel rough, even coarse, but it felt smooth and firm beneath her fingertips.
She was tempted to trail her fingers along the edge of his lips as well, but resist the urge too.. She looked at his lips. Could she kiss him? She was leaning down towards his lips but at the last second she kissed his cheek.
She laid her head on the pillow and whispered good night Jack and closed her eyes her head filled with him.
Jack was awake he missed the touch of her hand and her breath just inches from his lips. But he wouldn't a loud himself to be anymore involved with her than he already was.She would be hurt in the end he was captain jack sparrow that what he's known for braking hearts not falling in love.
With one last look at her he got up and left his cabin . He closed his eyes as the night air hit his face.

The next day
Jack had been ignoring Amelia like the black plague every time he saw her he would turned other way. Amelia was confused by his sudden mood change. She shrug her shoulders and got back to work
Over the next few days it would be like that he would ignore her completely or he would yell at her.
Amelia was bringing the captain's lunch she opened the door and walked in the room and then closed it with her feet, Jack took a quick peek at her and then looked back at the map.
Walking to his desk she set the tray down next to his arm she pored his tea in a tea cup and she added some rum. Picking his tea up with out even looking at he

Luv? She turned back around for the first time in days he looked in her green eyes.

You will be going home shortly it's all set now we just have to make a few more stops on the way back to your town. He told her she looked sad

"What is it, luv? Jack eyebrows knitted together "I thought you would be happy to go home"? He asked her
She nodded softly , I am I miss mother and father so much, She reached up to her neck and started playing with the ring that she put around her neck. Jack got it that ring is an engagement ring. He felt a flicker of jealousy running threw him but one look at her said it all.
"You don't wish to merry him? " Is he terribly ugly or deformed?" Jack teased
Amelia giggled and with the shake of her head, No I just don't love him and he is...well, he's just so...so boring.. I could never give my heart to him she said with a sigh

The ship lurched making Amelia fall in to jack's lap he wrapped his arms around her waist.
They both looked at each other they were so close there breath mingling together, Jack touched her rosy cheek softly, She felt all tingly. They both looked at each other
Jack was leaning his head down as her eyes flutter closed cupping her cheek with one hand and the other on her waist. Jack stopped himself he stood up with Amelia letting her waist go and just left the room.
