KATIES POV

It's been two days since I came home. Grant is still in a coma and I didn't want to leave. I wanted to stay by him in case anything happens. Carter got me cloths to change. But I started to stink real bad and man did I miss real food. I unlocked the door.
" Hey Katie I missed you " Cameron said
" Fuck off " I said not in the mood
" I heard what happened to Grant. Such a tragic " he said
" At least tried to sound like you care " I hissed
" Whatever " he said walking upstairs
After I grabbed a frozen slice of pizza I decided to go take a shower .

" So is grant feeling better ? " Carter asked at dinner
" How would I know " playing with my food
" Sorry " he mumbled
" How bout we go to that carnival tomorrow ?" He said
" SOUNDS LIKE FUNN" Taylor yelled
" Not you stupid . Only me and my sister " carter said laughing
" Sure " still playing with my food .
" Hey look he'll be alright. Just get your mind off things " carter assured me
" I'm not that hungry . I think I'll just go to bed " I said getting up
Then all of a sudden the doorbell range
I opened the doorbell and saw a really pretty girl.
" May I help you? " I asked
" Is carter here? " She asked
" CARTER A PRETTY GIRL IS HERE " I yelled
All of a sudden carter popped out of the kitchen and kissed the pretty girl.
I coughed breaking the moment.
" Katie this is Maggie . My girlfriend " he said
she smiled and it was a pretty smile too.
" Maggie this is Katie, my sister " he said
" Hi nice to finally meet you. Carter always talks about you " she said
" You sound like our mother and I sound like the girlfriend " I joked
At first I was expecting her to glare at me or snap back. But she didn't. She laughed . Maybe she was just faking it.
" Sense of humor. I like it " she said walking in
I grabbed carters arm and pulled him the side.
" How fast can you get a girlfriend " I asked him
" I really like her I really do. "He said walking back to Maggie
" So tomorrow I was thinking we can go to the carnival " Maggie suggested
" Actually I'm going to the carnival with my sister. " He said
" Oh that's alright. You guys have fun! " She said
" I mean we all three can go." I said and they both looked at me.
" What?.. Do I have a something on my face? " I asked
" I mean that sounds like a great idea " carter said
" No no you guys haven't spend time together and I am not going to ruin your plans " Maggie didn't seem like a bad person. But I wasn't feeling it. I just wanted to stay with grant at the hospital.
" I think I might be coming down with something. It was best if you guys go together " I suggested
" Really? " Carter asked surprised
" Yeah. Besides I like Maggie " I smiled at her. She smiled back.
I went up to my room to get some rest.
