Chapter eight

Lucy's POV

Loud crowds, cheers, alcohol, cursings it's nothing that I haven't seen before. There eyes will only look at you, waiting for a wrong move, waiting for you to mess up and next thing is they'll push you down to ground from where you started, making you feel miserable.

That is what happening right now as I breath heavily and wiped the blood off my face. I feel so much tired now, after all those fights I've won. I'm tired. I fought five persons already and they say I have to fight one more now.

My first fight, well not fight, a chess game. I was up against a short girl named Levy.

My second fight was with a guy. His name was, I guess it was Gazeel. He was really strong and I had to somehow knock him down. If he fall first I won. So with just a little trick I won.

The crowd was shocked at thus but now they know that I'm not weak. Some even cheered for me.

My third fight was with Lissana bitch. She fought me with knives. We both fought with knives. She managed to hurt me as her knife, when she kicked me with her special boots. It had a knife in the sole just like the guy from Kingsmen had in the last scene. It hit me straight in my right side. I was so angry after that, first she hit on my man and the she hit me. I was furious and I beat her pretty badly. She thought I'm just a slut and only know sex but bitch I'm a well trained assassin. You managed that shot only because I was looking at Natsu(｡♥‿♥｡)

People congratulated me and shouted for me get in the gang already. I'm trying here for that.

After that I was sent to the clinic and a lady bandaged me. I was shocked seeing her, she was old but everyone looked afraid of her.

My fourth fight was with Biska and Alzac. A gun fight. And I love guns. It was easy we just had to hit the targets behind each other. The fight was easy but the pain from my injured side made me miss the target a few times. After getting used to it I won.

In between fight I kept looking at Natsu in the crowd and he had a proud smile on. It made me happy and believe me or not, it also helped me fight my next two fights.

The next fights were not that easy but fought them well. In between fight I saw Natsu leave the area.

I didn't know where until I was lying on the floor panting hard. The noises were laughing at me. My brain was in freeze zone.

I never imagined to fight him. He looked at me coldly as he stood above me. I groaned trying to get up. I got up and looked at him holding my injured side where he purposely hit me.

His eyes looked dangerous as they looked at me and the surrounding to assess the situation and to attack.

It was like he don't even know me. Like I was nothing to him. Truthfully talking, it pained my heart when he stepped into the ring looking as cold as Arctic. The feeling of betrayal filled me, but I shut it down reasoning his position. He was the boss after all.

I think I'm crazy for thinking his glares are sexy. His biceps were showing from his black undershirt and I could clearly see my art work on his neck and back. Okay get back to fight Lucy.

I glared at Natsu as he eyed me like a predator ready to attack anytime. Please attack me daddy. No.... bad thoughts. He never told me I had to fight him too. Not like I care.... Who the fuck I'm kidding. I do care. I like him and I don't wanna fight him.

"Already tired. Miss Heartfilia. " he said in a tone that masked every feeling. My heart broke. I feel like a stranger now. My mood went from naughty to depressed just like that.

Cool down heart. It's business. We need to get in his gang so that we can stay beside.

I let out a deep sigh and looked at him like a opponent. Just as he wanted.

I launched forward and slide down beside him knowing he always has a knife on his right side. I pulled it out without him knowing as he kicked me. I stopped it placing my arm to absorb the shock.

And rolled back getting on my feet. I smirked as he saw the knife in my hand and launched at him again. This time trying to avert his attention using the knife. I side kicked him which he caught firmly. I growled and turned my upper body with force and hit his face with my other leg. He stumbled back and I fall down.

The silence between us was deafening as I waited for next attack and the crowd was in shock. He came forward this time. Let's use his weakness, it's fair caused he used mine by hitting my side.

"Hey love!" I said as bit my lip just when he was about to punch, it was hesitant as his eyes were on my lips, I pushed his hand aside. And punched his face.

The crowd goes silent again with ohhhhs. Now the fight turned into something everyone was waiting for. And most thought will not happen, cause they know about me and their boss.

Ah boss.

His head was pushed to a side as he licked the corner of his lip, that was bleeding.

"Nice move, love. " he glared at me going back into the boss mode. I hate it. Fine he wants to fight in real so let's do it.

I stood in front of him as he glared at me telling me to fight and I did.

I high kicked him and he blocked it. I did it several time and all that was gone into nothing. I tried punching him again but he caught me hand and threw me from over him to other side.

My back hit the concrete floor and it hurt like bitch. He reached for my head when I saw his hand and in fear pushed him down, straddling him and putting the knife on his neck. My heart was beating too fast. I did it.

He smirked at me when he announced that I passed, still in that position. The crowd cheered and the feeling that I got at that time was something. My heart was filled with pride. And I could see genuine smiles on their faces. I looked down at him, I was panting and so was he.

(a/n- most of their fight was done before Lucy fell down from where Natsu's scene came along so he was tired as well. )

I smiled at him happily and blushed when he pointed at the knife that was still on his neck. I realised that I hit him I guilt took over.

"sorry" I mumbled as he sat on the floor with me still on his lap. He pulled me against his chest and pushed my face at his neck.

"Party hard guys, we are leaving. " he announced to them and they cheered again. He stood up from there and took me to our room.

And cut.

So here's the update as I promised. And sorry guys I had to make Lucy and Natsu fight in this. And also sorry the fights are not that clean because I can't explain action scenes that well.
