-Chapter One: As We Do.-"Zavhi, I know we spend so much time working for the Thieves Guild, and that is why we can afford to spend such money on supplies for our armed forces... but... do you think we can spare a while to adventure?" A melodic voice floated to the slightly pointed ears of the half-elf as she narrowed her almond shaped pink eyes, bringing a hand up to brush black hair from her face. Sighing softly, she nodded, a smirk finding a way onto her face. "Of course, Sakarine. I've been itching to get out of Riften for ages now anyway. I'll gather up our gear, and you go to the map room and select the maps we need for whatever destination you may have in mind." She instructed calmly, finishing the last of her bread before heading to the ladder to go down to the armory. Sakarine smiled and nodded, running up the steps of the house to the map room, fiery red hair and flaming orange eyes both perfectly complimenting her eagerness to leave the city. It took a few hours before everything was ready, and the two agreed to get some rest and leave at dusk. When they set out, hoods of their cloaks shadowing their faces and embracing the darkest corners of Riften, the two left without a soul noticing them. Zavhi couldn't say she was pleased with the destination, Grove of the Lost, but no matter the outcome she knew it would be interesting. They followed the cobblestone paths for a while, making camp just off road each night for about a week before they split from the path altogether, following the map with extreme care. It was a shortcut to the place they could gain passage to Summerset Isle. Little did they know someone had been residing in the abandoned house between the two points. This person had been sleeping on the second floor when Zavhi lockpicked the door and slowly let it creak open. Noticing the fact the place now seemed... inhabited, they carefully crept through the first floor. Zavhi of course snatched gold and gems as she found them, where Sakarine, reluctant, just stole a bit of bread to eat. She'd been quite hungry. They'd had some Charred Skeever, but that wasn't satisfying enough. It seemed as if they'd be able to get out just fine, until the tip of Sakarine's sword hit a metal pan and make a loud clang which echoed through the house.

Ja'daar's WakingA loud sound woke him from his sleep, causing his ears to flick back and forth as he tried to place the sound. The shadowy black furred Khajiit flew down the steps with quick and graceful movements, pinning Zavhi against the wall and shooting Sakarine a glare with shimmering eyes. One silver as the stars and the other blue as the sea, the Khajiit's long black fur was clean and well kept. "Ja'daar does not like intruders in his home. Ja'daar wants to know why you are here." He hissed, getting a gentle response from Sakarine. Her soft voice carried sweetly, sincerely. "I'm very sorry we intruded upon your home. It was abandoned last we were here." She approached him slowly, dropping into a bow. The Khajiit let Zavhi go, expressing great curiosity. "Ja'daar would like to know why you are here." He stated, sitting down at the table. Sakarine and Zavhi sat beside him, the thieving half-elf leaving Sakarine to do the speaking. "This house is a convenient resting point between Skyrim's Riften and Bruma of Cryodiil." She explained, "We are heading to the Summerset Isles. Exploration calls." She smiled brightly at the Khajiit, debating if she should ask him to come along or not. But before Sakarine could answer, Ja'daar spoke. "Ja'daar will come with you. Just until Elsweyr is near. Khajiit wants to go home."
And so they agreed to take along the strikingly beautiful Khajiit, Ja'daar. A warrior in his prime, yet somehow untouched, not a visible scar on him.
