-Chapter Two: Journey to Cryodiil-
The trio had been formed, and with it, the beginning of an inseparable bond. Heading to Bruma in Cryodiil to rest and get supplies on their way to the Summerset Isles, Sakarine and Zavhi had picked up Ja'daar, a beautiful and mysterious Khajiit. Now they had moved on from the abandoned house he had claimed as his refuge and were back on the road. They stopped at nightfall and set camp along the roadside. A fire warming them, the three had dinner and went to sleep, a peaceful and relaxing night before a long and hard day. That morning they were faced by wolves immediately after setting out, a pack of three. From there they encountered a bear, spriggan, and four trolls. Now wounded, the three of them continued on, camping at night and traveling in the daylight. Upon reaching Bruma, they paid for three rooms and sat for meals. Ja'daar's wound was infected and a potion of healing slowly worked its way into his system to help while he ate. Three days they spent in Bruma, recovering and resting as well as gathering supplies. The Summerset Isles were a ways away and the Grove of the Lost a treacherous place. They traveled by cart to Chorrol, stopping only to let Ja'daar take another healing potion for his wounds and get some more food into his system, eating in small increments. Wishing to travel to Greenheart, Valenwood where the boat travel would be less and land travel more, the group moved on to the city if Skingrad in Cryodiil. This is where Ja'daar pulled Sakarine and Zavhi aside, halting travel temporarily.
"Ja'daar originally wished to return to Elsweyr. However, Ja'daar now would like to remain with Sakarine. Sakarine has been very kind to Ja'daar." The Khajiit stated softly, his long tail waving behind him. Staring into the depths of his eyes, Sakarine smiled and nodded, "I would be happy to have you stay with us, Ja'daar. Zavhi, do you have any objections?" She turned to half-elf, whose pink eyes fluttered open with a soft sigh, "No, I have nothing against you having your new friend along. Too bad I didn't bring Sven," She joked, speaking of the handsome blonde bard she had left back in Riverwood. Although she spent most days in Riften, Sven happened to be Zavhi's husband. She had charmed him more than the Valerius woman had. Carlotta, Camille, something beginning with a C. Zavhi didn't concern herself with it anymore, that woman had married Faendal. Sven would spend some time in Riverwood with his mother, which is where he had been when they left.
"Oh Zavhi, that would have been fun actually! We could have had music, and Sven is so cheerful too!" Sakarine replied happily, "Anyway, shall we keep going?" She suggested, the two nodding in agreement with her before they set off again. They were on their way to Valenwood and expected to cross the border by nightfall. And indeed they did. By dusk they had reached Arenthia.
