The snow had fallen early this year and Yugi did not feel prepare for it. His grandfather had tried to tell him that taking a warmer jacket would be wise, but the young man was out the door before hearing a word. The cold air bit at him but he chose to ignore the chill that seeped through his jacket. At least I have a scarf, Yugi thought as he waited at the stop light.

He across the street to where his bus stop was then looked up and down the street for his bus. Ha! Not going to miss it this time! The light change just as he caught sight of his bus turning into the street. Quickly he made it to the stop right when the first flakes started to fall. Though he was out of breath, Yugi took a brief minute to hold out his hand to catch a wet flake in his hand, then looked up to smile at the grey sky.

Winter is here and soon Christmas will be too. I should start my shopping early this year. Expertly for Anzu, now that she lives in America.

The creaky sound of the bus doors opening drew him out of thought and when he felt the warm air of the heat, he thought that he should buy a warmer coat after his errand to the library. Yugi was doing his own research on gaming history to gain ideas. His grandfather had suggested that he also look into lore. "There maybe something you can implement in your games." The old man had advised.

It was after the visit to the library that Yugi truly regretted not taking a moment to get a warmer coat back at his house. The sun did its best to shine warmth through the misty clouds, but winter was claiming its season. Five inches of snow had fallen since Yugi stay in the library. More snow was sure to fall and Yugi stood on the steps thinking of what to do. Not only did he not have a proper coat, he did not have the proper shoes.

He then remember see a second hand shop near to where he had walked from the bus stop. Carefully he walked to the shop. Yugi would have ran to it but he did not want to risk slipping on the snow and ice. Even walking he nearly slipped but he made it safely to the shops glass door. A cheery bell jingled and from the back called out an middle age man.

"How can I help you?" He asked as he walked up to Yugi then stopped to look him over and said, "My, that is not a very practical coat to be wearing in this weather."

"I know," replied Yugi with a small smile and asked, "You wouldn't happen to have some coats that I could buy? Oh, and shoes too."

"Right this way."

The shop may have been small, but it had a lot of choices for Yugi. After picking out a winter green coat with a brown furry lining and a pair of brown boots, Yugi browsed around. He found a toy section and could help scanning over a stack of old board games. Feeling ready to brave the cold again he made his way to the register. As he walked, a shiny purple box caught his eye. He could not guess what kind material the glossy panels were made off but something about it made him curious. Thinking of another box that had once held his curious, Yugi picked it up and tried to open it.

It would not open.

"Ah, you have good taste," said the owner so suddenly that Yugi jumped.

The man paid him no mind and took the box out of his hand. He took out a tiny key from his pocket and search the box. "It is here somewhere," he murmur then let out a small triumph cry and put the key in the box. He then moved to a small table and beckon Yugi to follow. A few twists of the key and the box slowly bloomed open to a sweet tune. Yugi had never seen a music box like this in his life. The bow did not just open with a lid. The box became undone and showed a small scene, like a stage and in the middle was a tiny figurine of a ballerina. She was the most detail figurine Yugi had ever seen and watched as she spun slowly on the point of her foot while she held one had in front and the other over her head.
