As I walked through the hallway of the new school that I was forced to attend by my parent, I felt a sharp pain in my chest, I was used to the pain already but it usually comes whenever something bad was about to happen. By the way I'm Myra Bams the only child of Mr&Mrs Bams I'm 17 years old
I got to the locker room which I had been to few weeks ago when I came with my mum to check the school out.
I don't know why my parents made me change school because I was doing pretty well at the other school I attended.
I got to my locker and kept my stuff I took only the things I needed I went to my class as I got to the door I felt the pain again but I ignored it and sat down at an empty space, because I had chemistry now.
As I sat down I watched everyone in the class do their things, then the chemistry teacher walked in and the class started.
We were already half way in the lesson when a guy walked in with two other guys rudely laughing and distracting the class without apologising went to their seat, the teacher said nothing and continue the topic which was weird.
When I was done with chemistry I had Maths next which is my best subject so I went to my locker and took my note along with my textbook and went for class
In class surprisingly I saw the rude again with his friends tho they were early this time I saw a girl seating alone and I went over to her
" is the sit taken?" I Asked.
" no" she replied, and I sat.
" my name is Myra " I said stretching my hands.
" I'm Lily, nice meeting you" she said shaking my hands.
" who is that guy seating there ?" I said pointing the rude guy
" woah girl that's Leon, like he is the most popular guy in school and his parents are fucking rich like any teacher that scolds him would get fired before the day ends and he is fucked up rude" she said disgusted "But he his cute and handsome and hot and rich and......"
" No wonder teacher didn't scold him when he came late" I cut her
" yeah" she said as I turned to look at him, a girl was already by his side and they were kissing which was inappropriate because were in class
" That's his girlfriend Celia, babe I'm Sorry but I hate her, she's too saucy and rude she thinks she's the only one Leon is dating she doesn't know that he is cheating on her with other girls, their love life us complicated" Lily concluded I signed and the teacher walked in.
He wrote REVISION OF FRACTION on the board then wrote a question on the board and asked the class who can solve it nobody answered only the girl name Celia and he called her to solve it.
The question is quite simple but she missed a step and got the answer wrong so the maths teacher asked if anyone else in the class can solve but no one raised hand so I decided to try
" sir I can try" I said as I raised my hands
" Don't think I've seen your face around " He said
"I'm new sir" I replied
" What's your name?" He asked
" Myra Bams" I replied
"So Myra you are new and you want to solve this? Are you sure you can?" He asked and the whole class started laughing
" Yes sir I want to try"
"Ok the board is all your " He said as he handed the marker
Some minutes later
"Sir I'm through" I said
"Are you sure?" He asked
" Yes sir" I said as I returned the marker and went to my seat
" Well class she got the answer " He said as everyone started clapping except Celia, her boyfriend and his friends it's their business.
*LUNCH*
I went for lunch with Lily I really like her and so she's my friend already
"Myra like seriously that was cool" Lily said
"What?" I asked
" The way you solved the maths without blinking " She said amused I just smiled
" Celia is also good she only missed a step " I said
" Yeah she's actually the one that represents the school whenever we have any competition even Leon is also brilliant he is just proud" Lily said as we got to the cafeteria entrance only to meet Leon and his friends standing at the door tho they were backing us
"Let go and pass the back door of the cafe " she said pulling me but I didn't move
" Why?"
"Don't call him we don't want to get on his bad side" She said
" No I'm not going anywhere " I said tapping him
" Who the fuck is that?" He said rudely as he turned
I did not reply him
"What do you want?" He asked
" Please excuse me I need to pass" I said
He looked at me rudely and left with his friends I hissed and went into the cafe with Lily...
