Coffee & tea

So I know it's been a wile. I figured as a Christmas present I'd make another chapter. I honestly wasn't in the right headspace to write and had little to no energy/motivation.

When I got back to my room I took off Keith's hoody. Why is it so cold in here? Wile my room may be the smallest of the bunch it's the only one with a bathroom so I won't complain.

I grab my blue sweater and black and white jeggings which I got at the space mall. (N/A picture above) the black and white jeggings I got at a place that almost looked like hot topic and the sweater from something similar to kohl's. I hop in the shower then get changed into my clothes. I put on my pair of black fleece lined boots. Then head off to the dining hall.

I honestly don't know why but I've always taken a liking to the fall. I guess it's the best time of the year to show off my more feminine side. Of course I have no idea what season it is. I mean where in space and stuff.

I snap out of my thoughts when I hear chatter in the dining hall. However that all change once I walked into the room. With this added silence it's only adding to my anxiety. That's something I've always suffered through. I know I may seem calm and collected and don't care kinda person ,but it's what people don't see is why I'm that way. I worry over the smallest things. It's been getting better now that I'm closer to the team and all ,but I still sometimes have my nerves spike and my thoughts going 90 miles an hour. As well as fast breathing.

I sit down next to Keith as always. I feel as though all eyes are on me. It makes me feel uneasy about eating and almost loose my appetite. "Want something to drink" Keith ask finally breaking this silent and awkward tension. Well kind of anyway. "Umm yeah. That would be great thanks" I replied quietly.

I put my head down and continue to eat my meal that hunk so graciously cooked for us. About a minute after Keith left the room space dad spoke up. "Sooo you and Keith?" So this is why it's so awkward. "Yeah? What about me and Keith?" I ask as though clueless. "Are you too...a thing now?" I laugh. Not because it's actually funny but because it's my way of coping. Laughter is the the best medicine and coping mechanism when you want to just laugh at your pain. Besides I doubt Keith actually likes me. He's probably just messing with me or something. I bet he's not even gay.

"No. But even if we were what's the problem with it?" I ask. I'm bisexual. Yeah I've liked girls before. I had a girlfriend in high school for 2 years. She moved and we just never really had time to talk. I loved her and she loved me but it wasn't meant to be. Great now I sound like a book of poems. Of course I also flirt with girls all the time. It was never really about the girl. It was to get Keith's attention. Well that and the fact I know I could never be with Keith. He's so perfect and the team needs him but he doesn't need me. So I've actually tried looking for a girlfriend. So that way I'm not just stuck on some stupid crush I've had since the garrison.

"There's nothing wrong with you liking guys lance. Non of us would judge you. Besides as you know I'm probably one of the straightest circles there is ,Pidge is non-binary ,I try to keep the pans in the kitchen away from junk because he's pansexual. Of course you know how that works out." I giggle at the joke. "And I do have my suspicions of Keith" shiro continued on. Leave it to space dad to expose everyone like that.

Before I could say anything keith came back in the room with a water pouch. "Thank you." I say as he hands the pouch towards me. He gives me a nod in return.

"Well keith seeing as how galra mate for life , guess Lance is stuck with you." Oh come on Pidge. That was too far. I spit out my water. Which wasn't much thank god. "Okay that's it! For the last time nothing happened last night! And even if it did it's not like I'd go around telling everyone. All that happened was that be both went to sleep. That's it! Period!" I had to stop myself from laughing at the last thing that he said.

Keith got up and stormed out of the room. Before he do though he looked at me. I could instantly tell it was an invitation to his room but I needed to keep it low-key.

"Pidge that was too far." Shiro said. It wasn't angry it was just a low voice that let you know he was disappointed. I played with my food for two minutes before getting up to follow keith. Taking mine and his plate with me before going to the kitchen to put them in the sink. Then I left to go find keith.
