{Smut-ish}

Roger pulled up the driveway, I had barely gotten out the car when Clare had her arms tightly around my neck. I chuckled softly and hugged her back. She pulled away and hugged Roger. "come on you two! Mom has been bustling with excitement!" She pulled us into the house and Mom hugged us tightly. "Oh! How's life been?" She asked as she pulled back, smiling at the two of us. "Roger youre still short." Clare said, looking at us, her arm around the back of the couch and a wide smile on her face. Roger immediately started after her, Clare squealed and ran off. Mom looked at me and shook her head lightly. I smiled and hugged her "I missed you." I said. "I've missed you to dear." She said "Now who's J?" She asked a small smile on her features.

I slid into my childhood bed, my belly full and sleep tugging at my eyelids. I sat up and turned on my lamp. Three minutes to Christmas. I got up and sneaked into the hallway. I quietly pulled the phone from its cradle and dialed the number Johnny gave me and waited. "I said Midnight deary." Johns voice blessed my ears. "I just couldn't wait. I miss you so much." I whispered. "Ooh why are we being quiet?" He asked. "The only phone is in the hall." I mumbled. "Oh nice." "Mhm. One minute."  I said. "I love you." John said. "I love you too Darling." I smiled softly. "Do you ever think about being serious?" He asked. I nodded "sometimes yeah." I whispered and slid down the wall. "I think about it a lot." John said. "That's adorable." I replied, smiling softly. "You're adorable." He said. "And you didn't whisper." He continued. "Oh no are you going to arrest me?" I asked. "Maybe." He replied. I giggled softly. "Merry Christmas y/n." John said. "Merry Christmas Johnny." I replied. "Im taking you on a date tomorrow." John said. "Okay baby." I mumbled. "Go to sleep Angel." He said. "I love you." I said then let out a skull piercing yawn. "Love you too dear." "Good night." "Night." I put the phone in the cradle and walked to my room, slid into bed and let sleep over take my conscience.

I got up and walked down stairs in some shorts (that are John's) and an oversized white shirt. I smiled at the presents under the tree. "Breakfast loves." Mom said. Roger and Clare got off the couch and walked to the dining room, I took my seat in front of Roger and started eating the meal of french toast and bacon. We all finished quickly, eager to open our presents. We sat around the tree and opened them. I got a makeup kit from Clare, a couple of girly knick knacks from mom, and finally from Roger a unmarked Vinyl. I looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Its Queens first album Queen." He said, smiling widely. "No way!" I said. "Yes way!" My dumb brother said, our smiles matching. Clare snatched it out of my hands and put it on the record player and we all sat around getting fat and listening to the album, while mom was working on Christmas dinner. When it ended, Roger basked in the praise we gave him. "We're not realeasing it until summer." He said. "Youre gonna be a rockstar!" Clare said. "I already am dumbass." "Language!" Mom called from the kitchen. She walked into the living room and gasped at the three messes that are her children. "Clean this mess up and go get dressed, we have family coming over."

I sat in my spot at the table, in my itchy white dress, sipping some non alcoholic cider. Roger and I kept on shooting each other the same irritated look. The only good thing about tonight is I'm leaving with £300 in my pocket. Family has been poking and proding, mainly roger cause hes successful like 'oh sorry I want to be an author'. But the family is the family. The small cousins are annoying and the old people are.....old. Clare, Roger and I just sat there, not talking to anybody, listening. We're at that weird age in-between child an grown. Hell we can't even legally drink alco- "who's J?" A cousin asked, pointing a mashed potato covered finger at me. I almost showed my disgust. I looked at Roger and smirked "My boyfriend." "Whats his name?" A slightly older cousin asked. "John." I replied. "How do ya know him?" My grandfather asked. "Oh he plays bass in Roggies band." I said, smiling widely. "Is he cute?" "Very." "Have you two had sex?" Roger choked on his drink, a lot of the elder people gasped, my face immediately burned up. "Hopefully not before marriage." Mom said in a strained voice. I shook my head "no we haven't." I could feel my face burning. "Now Id like to be excused." I stood up and walked into the kitchen. My mom soon joined me. "Are you alright love?" She asked. "Yes.... just really embarrassed." I laughed lightly, pouring myself a glass of wine. "Y/n!" My mom said harshly. I looked at her with pleading eyes. "Oh fine but tell me, have you two??? Because if you have that's totally fine I don't care about the marriage bullshit." Mom said. I gasped "mom." "Youre drinking wine and I'm swearing." I giggled softly. "No we haven't not yet. I think we both want it to be special." My mom nodded and kissed my cheek before returning to the dining room. I sipped my wine and sighed softly.
