I looked down at my paper

I want to share kisses with you

That's all I have. I've got a poem due in two days and that is all I have. I looked at my clock 12:30 am. I groaned and dropped my head onto my desk. "Hey." The soft voice of the love of my life came from my bed. "Come to bed baby." He said. Oh, that sounded wonderful, peel off this wooden chair and sink into the bed with his arms around mine. But two days and I have one line. Just work all day tomorrow. The boys will be in and out all day they are recording this new album which is amazing, but not helpful to my poem due tomorr- "baby." John said. I sat up and pulled my shirt off before plopping into my bed, just as I suspected, I got comfy right up next to John, and he wrapped his arms around me.

I woke up to an empty bed, mmmm my favorite. I sat up and it was quiet, I looked down at my clothes and nodded "This'll do." I walked out my room, and there weren't four crazy people on the couch, I checked rooms and alone. Absolutely completely alone. I took off my shorts and pulled on one of John's shirts and some frilly socks. I went to the kitchen and started making some pancakes and listening to The Beatles I finished and went to the living room and sat in front of the couch and behind the living room table. I sipped my cocoa and glanced at my journal. "I want to share kisses with you....in the morning." I nodded and wrote that line. I hummed softly along to strawberry fields forever. The door opened and a specific blonde and curly haired giant walked in. I looked up at them. "Morning sis." Roger said. "Hi." I said. "What's this?" Brian picked my journal up. "An assignment, it's due tomorrow but I've got an absolute block." I said. Brian sat my journal down "Sounds to me like you have inspiration from a long haired skinny armed bass player." He said. "I do but don't." I said. "Well... he'll be by later." Roger walked out the kitchen with oranges "Come on  Bri." Roger said. Brian ruffled my hair and left. "Bye." I said and closed the door behind them.

I was busy writing, sitting on my desk criss-cross applesauce, when I felt a hand on my back and a kiss on my cheek. I looked up and smiled widely. "Hey you know chairs are a thing right?" "Huh what is this witchcraft you speak of chee-are?" I asked. John laughed lightly, he sat down in my chair I gasped "You're floating! Witch! Witch! Burn him at the stake!" John laughed and shook his head lightly "Listen up goofball I got you a present." I looked at John, a small smile on my face. He pulled out a little box and took his time opening it. I groaned "Johnny. You're taking so long." "Oh shut up." He said and showed me a skinny silver ring with my birthstone as the only jewel. "It's a promise ring." John said. I looked at him and smiled widely and jumped off my desk, hugging him tightly. He laughed and hugged me back. I took the ring and slid it on my left hand and kissed John. John pulled back and smiled widely. "I have to go finish that poem, yeah?" He asked. "Yeah." I said. He kissed my forehead and left.

I looked at the finished poem and nodded, I skipped out my room and John was walking in. I went over and kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you inspiration." I said. "You're welcome?" He asked. I nodded. I looked at the boys. "Where are your pants?" Roger asked. "This morning I understood but now it just doesn't make sense." "Thank you, Rog." I said and walked to my room, I pulled off John's shirt and tugged on a white crop top and some short overalls. I walked out my room and sat on the couch admiring my ring. Freddie sat by me, an arm around my shoulders a hand on my thigh "That's a pretty ring." He said. "Thank you, Johnny got it for me." I said smiling."engagement?" "Promise." Freddie nodded and smiled widely. He kissed my cheek and ran off. I tilted my head and realized all four boys were standing. "What did you do?" I asked. "We're having a party." Brian said. "But it's small." Freddie said. "Just a couple friends." Roger said. I nodded "Wonderful."

I avoided a drunken guy, almost spilling alcohol on myself, small my ass. Roger was making out with someone in the corner. Brian was visibly pissed. I couldn't find John and Freddie was who knows where. I walked over to Brian. "I'm sorry." He said. "More people arrived then we thought." I nodded "Its fine, I just want to know where John is." "Oh come on." Brian took my hand and pulled me to the bathroom, he knocked three, twice and one times. The door opened and I was pushed in. John smiled at me. "Hiding out?" I asked. He nodded. "Good." I sat by John in the bathtub "Did you finish your poem?" He asked. "Yeah." I laid my head on his shoulder and sipped my drink. "Read it to me." He said. "I want to share kisses with you. In the morning. In the afternoon. In the evening. In the cold. In the heat. After breakfast. Under a wedding arch. After putting our children to bed. Anywhere in the world. As long as it's you I'm sharing kisses with." I said, it's been in my brain all day.

"Wow that's actually pretty good." John said. "What? Were you expecting it to be bad?" "No no." He said. " No?" I asked lightly tickling his side. "No no." He laughed. I smiled widely and kissed him softly. He kissed back "We should go get drinks." I said. John nodded and stood up "Piggy back ride." He said and climbed out the bath. I stood on the edge of the bathtub, a little unbalanced he put his hands on my waist. I smiled softly and kissed his cheek. He turned around and I climbed on his back, and we (mainly him) walked to the kitchen. We got some drinks and clinked them together before laughing and taking a drink.
