Emma's POV-
I woke up to an empty bed and the smell of food. I got up and walked to the bathroom so I can wash my face and get dressed. I don't want to look like a mess. When I got out I walked to the kitchen and noticed Alec talking with Victoria on the couch and Jack making some breakfast. Alec noticed me almost immediately.
"Emma, hey. Are you feeling better?" He walks up to me with a very concerned look plastered on his face. "I'm okay. Thank you Alec." "Of course" he leans in to hug me, I gladly give in. I feel safe, secure in his arms. And the same scent of honey and cologne fills my nose. "Whatever" Victoria gets up and leaves "damn why is she being such a bitch. Like what did I ever do to her?" I thought to myself. "Don't pay attention to her. She is just mad that you are going on tour with me" "but why would she be mad?" "Because of space and her attitude. Since you are going she can't because you take up the way extra bed. And no one really likes her since last tour. She was so rude and always hit on me. It was so annoying" "oh" well, that's really all I could say to be honest. "Em it's not your fault I swear. Ur perfect just being here and I'm so glad I get to spend time with you and, yeah." "Em?" "Yeah. Do you not like it? I can stop if you want." "Alec, I love it. And don't worry so much." He looks relieved "okay good, I'm sorry" "Its totally okay. You look cute" what the fuck did I just say? I can't believe that came out of my mouth. I didn't know what to do so I just went to go talk to Jack.

Alec's POV
          Wait, she called me cute. EMMA called me CUTE. I just stood there in shock. Well, I stood there like a complete idiot. She ended up walking to go talk to Jack about tour stuff. I just sat down on the couch and turned on the television. I couldn't find anything so I went to Netflix. Still, I've seen almost everything and I still couldn't find anything to watch.
"Em do you have any good netflix show recommendations?" "Umm The Office. It's the best show on Netflix" she says finishing up her pancakes "Um I've never seen it. You wanna watch it with me?" I say, clearly nervous to see what her reaction is going to be "You read my mind Alec" she says smiling, and plopping down on the couch next to me. I smile back at her, and we just stare at each other for a while. I look into her dark blue eyes and she looks into mine. "Hey love birds, you gonna start the show or what" I immediately snap out of my daze and click on the first episode.
Emma looks kind of cold so I grab the nearest blanket and drape it over us.

Emma's POV-
When he put the blanket over top of us I took the opportunity to snuggle into his side. He got the message pretty dang quick. Alec put his arm behind me, lowering it to my shoulder, then to my back, then my lower back. I liked it, in a way, feeling safe in his grasp. I leaned my head on his chest and put my arm around his torso. I could hear his heartbeat, beating. And when I moved closer I could hear it beat faster. We stayed like that for a while. We laughed and talked a lot. Well, until Victoria came back. Damn I forgot about her. Oh well.
"Alec can you come help me in the other room? Pleeeease?" "Sorry Vic but I'm preoccupied" "whatever" and the bitch sat down. She just stared at us, but when Alec noticed he pulled and held me closer. I smiled without even realizing it. I glanced at Victoria and she looked pissed. Then Alec kissed the top of my head. Something that made me weak and it sent shivers down my spine. Victoria look mad, wait, no, she looked pissed. She forcefully got up and stomped her way to the kitchen to grab some food. I kinda of chuckled inside. I mean I guess it was a little funny but she really doesn't have a reason to be mean.
"Hey Em" "hmm" "so I was wondering" Alec disconnected himself from me. Now he was looking into my eyes. "Do you maybe wanna go to Six Flags today with Jack, my sister, and I?" I really should say no. I have a ton of packing to do still. But I gave in anyways. "Sure. When are we going?" "Well how about right now?" "That sounds good"
Alec's sister showed up right before we left. It was like 12 already and Victoria came out of the bathroom wearing a Whataburger outfit (if you don't know what it is, it's a really popular restaurant in Texas. Idk if they have it anywhere else in America so tell me if they do lol)
"Umm where are you guys going?" Victoria asked grabbing her keys. "Six Flags. Have fun at work! See you later!" Alec said grabbing my hand and dragging me outside. "Here you can sit in the front" he said to me "Bro. But I want to sit in the front" Logan said (the sister). Alec just glared at her. "Ugh fine" we all laughed and I got in the front.
About 20 minutes later we arrived and Logan and I were like the only ones excited about roller coasters. Apparently Alec isn't the biggest fan. Us girls went on a bunch of rides while Jack and Alec sat waiting for us, eating lol.
"Come on!! At least the fairs weel!" I begged Alec. "I already told you no Em!" He says laughing "pleeeeease!!" "Fine!" "Yay!" I grabbed his hand and we waited in line. As we waited I can tell he was nervous. He was fiddling with his fingers and shaking a bit, so I grabbed his hand and intertwined my fingers with his.
"Alec it's going to be okay. It's the easiest ride to go on here. And I'll be there right next to you." He gave me a small smile. Damn that smile kills me every time.
A few minutes later and we were next to get on. Alec started to look scared again. I don't blame him. I mean the ride is pretty dang high. I squeezed his hand twice to let him know it's going to be alright. I think it worked because he smiled a bit and looked, more calm.
"Is it just you guys?" The worker asks "yes" Alec and I say together. "Well cmon then." He gestures us to get in the seat, which is only big enough for 2 people. He puts a rail over our laps and gives another worker a thumbs up. He then proceeds to push a button, making the ride start.
We start going up and the sun starts to set. "Wow this really isn't that bad" Alec says "Well I told you so" we both sit there in laughter.
The ride stops at the top and I can feel Alec looking at me "you know it's rude to stare" I say with a small smile "it's not rude when I'm staring at the most amazing and beautiful girl in all of California right now"
I blush, bad, and try to hide it. "Don't cover up yourself when you blush. You look adorable when you do" Fuck I blush even more. This time I look into his eyes. He starts to lean in and so do I. All of a sudden my lips are on his. He kisses me so passionately. And his lips are so soft.

Alec's POV-
          Oh. My. God. I'm actually kissing her. She ropes her arms around my neck and I put one hand on her waist and one hand on her cheek. Our lips move in sync and she lightly tugs on my hair causing me to moan slightly. She takes the opportunity to slide her tongue into my mouth. Our tongues fight for dominance, me winning obviously.
All of a sudden the ride starts moving, causing the seat to rock back and forth. She pulls away. We reach the ground and get off the ride and see Jack and Logan sitting on a bench waiting for us. Logan immediately rushes up to me.

Emma's POV-
"How scared were you" She asks. I chuckle "it wasn't as bad as I thought" "well good. Can we go home now. I'm tired" "same" Jack and I reply. "Well come on then" Alec says running to the car, not running, sprinting. Damn he is fast. Everyone starts running and I end up catching up to Alec. "So that's how it's gunna be huh?" Alec says, speeding up. I speed up to. Barely beating him to the car. "Damn Em, you're fast" "Well, soccer did help me get faster" "you played soccer?" Alec says trying to catch his breath "yep! Almost got a scholarship but realized I didn't want to go to college" "Well you must be pretty fucking good then if your that fast." "I'll play you some time" "Bet!" Alec says making me laugh. Jack and Logan finally reach the car "Alec. Why the fuck would you sprint!?" "Don't know. Just felt like it. That ride got my adrenaline pumping to much" Alec looks at me and winks. I blush. Again. Damn it.
On our way back home I couldn't stop thinking about the kiss. About how amazing it felt. Then I felt Alec's hand intertwine with mine. But, in the back of my mind I couldn't stop thinking about how I could never date him. Because again, I could never give him what he wants. I could never make him happy. I could never give him the life he deserves.
A single tear fell down my cheek. Good thing no one noticed. I soon drifted off to sleep. With Alec's hand in mine.
