Chapter 5, Full Moon

*Sarina's PoV*

It's the day of the full moon and Remus isn't looking too good.

I've been panicking all day about the wolfsbane potion.

'What if it doesn't work? What if Remus still feels pain and loses control when the full moon comes? What if Remus gets sad, or worse! What if he gets angry and won't be my friend anymore because I failed him?' I thought to myself, having a panic attack and fiddling with my fingers, which is something that everyone knows is what I do when I get nervous or panic.

'Oh my gosh Night! Calm down!! It'll all be fine!' Sirius said in my head.

'Alright, sorry' I replied back.

We were in potions class and I was sitting with Remus.

Severus was sitting at a table next to me with Lily.

I had told him that the potion was going to be tested tonight (but not who was taking it) and he was really excited, but like me was worrying a little too.

Remus most have noticed because he took my hand and have it a reassuring squeeze.

I looked at him and have him a thankful smile.

He leaned over to me an whispered in my ear "Don't worry I'm sure the potion will do exactly what it was made to do. Your an amazing potion mistress" he said.

I blushed at his compliment.

--At Night--

*Remus PoV*

We were all waiting in the Shrieking Shack for the full moon. I had already taken the potion and was waiting for the light of the moon.

There was a somewhat awkward silence until Sarina spoke up.

"Hey guys, remember when in third year when you were trying to figure out why Moony was disappearing on full moons" she said laughing.

I burst out laughing at the memory.

--Flashback--

-Age 12, 2th year-

"Alright this is the first ever Marauders truth circle...and I'm pretty sure it won't be the last" said Sirius. As we sat in the Room of Requirements.

"Night will you do the honors?" He asked.

"Sure Sirius" she replied.

She sat up and put up her right hand.

"I solemnly swear that everything I say and do is the truth and will forever be left in the truth circle" Sarina said.

We all raised our right hand and repeated what she said.

"Ok guys ask away" I said getting comfortable on the floor next to Sarina.

Sirius and James have each other a look and nodded.

"Now Moony no matter what you will still be our mate" James said.

"Thanks Prongs" I said.

Sirius opened his mouth to ask the first question.

"Moony....are you a vampire?!" Sirius asked.

At that Sarina and I burst out laughing like a bunch if crazies.

"I'm guessing he's far from it" James said.

"What!? But what about the scars?" Sirius asked blushing a little embarrassed.

"I got these because I'm a werewolf guys" I said once I was able to stop laughing.

"Woah! Really? That's so cool" Sirius said.

"I guess so" I said.

--End Flashback--

"Oh gosh, don't remind me" Sirius said covering his face with his hands in embarrassment.

"That was hilarious" said Sarina still laughing a little.

"I was practically giving you guys a hint that he was a werewolf when I started calling Remus Moony sometimes" she said.

"Guys!" James yelled.

We looked out the small window and saw the full moon.

The light of the full moon landed on me and I started to change but there wasn't as much pain as before.

*Sarina's PoV*

"Guys! James yelled.

We looked out the small window and saw the full moon.

The light landed on Remus and my heart stopped seeing what will happen.

Remus started transforming but he wasn't screaming in pain like he did.

Once he was in full werewolf form I slowly walked towards Remus with my right hand stretched out to touch him.

I saw Sirius change into his animagus form and wait just to make sure that if something bad did happen it wouldn't get too out of hand.

"Remus?" I said softly.

Werewolf Remus let out a small "Aroo" and looked up at me.

I gasped.

Looking into his eyes I could tell Remus was still there and in full control.

"It worked" I squealed.

Sirius changed back and gave me a hug.

"Your brilliant Night! A Potion Mistress genius" he yelled happily while spinning me around a little.

James hugged me too with a big smile on his face.

I looked at werewolf Remus and although you couldn't tell because of his wolf face, you could see in his eyes that he was just as happy as us.

We all sat back down and werewolf Remus came over to me and nuzzled my cheek before laying down next to me.

We all laid down and fell asleep a few minutes later.

*Remus PoV*

I watched as Sirius and James congratulated Sarina on the potion working.

Although I was in control I still felt myself going crazy for Beauty as I wanted nothing more than to make her mine.

The least I could do was go up an nuzzle her cheek, feeling sparks at the slightest touch.

They all feel asleep and before I did I watched Beauty as she slept thinking of how lucky I was that she was my friend.

But I wanted so much more then that.

'I'm gonna try and take her on a date. She excepts me for who I am and has even helped me with my 'furry little problem' in ways I didn't think anyone could do' I thought to myself.

I'm ready to make her mine.
